Finally! Do you believe in Destiny?

Moonlight27

I just realized I became a patron just to watch RWBY reactions a week early

Anonymous

Well, it's time to get to the All Happy Sweet stuff....

Skeletor

Not related But Carrie Fisher Has Passed Away. Am I a Bad person to Wonder What Happens Too Princess Leia Now Too.

So it's something small and easy to miss, but in episode 7 when Qrow saves Amber, you'll hear the sound of Emerald making an illusion and all the villains have blurred faces until they run away. That's why Qrow wouldn't be able to recognize them

Skeletor

Cant Wait Till They Do The Next 4 RWBY Episodes. Wonder if they will Do Episode 12 The Whole Thing Which I Suppose To Be Longest Finale ever.

Anonymous

when Crow save Amber, he never saw Mercury ot emerald as their faces were hidden, Go back and watch episode 7 and you will see

Skeletor

By Pyra Actions I think She was there wrong Choice. Seems too me skill is not everything its having wisdom too and she was not ready for this in my book.

Moonlight27

Sad Yang is sad. I always get a bit teary eyed when any character cries.

Anonymous

You have to keep in mind that they had no time to let her grow or search for someone else. It has to be a young woman, who do you think would be ready in the school?

Subaru130

Well, a pretty good portion of that episode is the credits, so they'll probably either skip it or cut out the video while that's going on.

Subaru130

Yeah, it always seemed a little weird to me that everyone seems so against the idea that there actually is someone with a hallucination-based Semblance, even Qrow and Ironwood, who know there actually are intruders there trying to do something. You'd think there would be some sort of documented example of a similar Semblance at some point. Maybe Eric is onto something and they actually did have to register their Semblances and Emerald registered a fake one, maybe even using her Semblance to fake it in front of an official if it was necessary.

Moonlight27

I think the whole register a semblance thing is reading too much into it.

Blair

I feel like the teachers are familiar with the Beacon kids' semblances already but not necessarily so with the people from other schools

CDJackson96

If you look closely at Episode 7, when Qrow looks up after interrupting the transference, Cinder's face is all blurred. Emerald put him under a minor illusion (because she had already affected Amber and any more illusions would have stretched her abilities too far). I don't think that Qrow got a good look at them when he was running either. Qrow doesn't know what they look like.

Eduardo Zatarain

During the Amber Ambush, Emerald blurred out the faces of them so Qrow couldn't see them, still he should be able to recognize the silver hair and the all silver and black clothing but oh well, plot holes

Thilde

I'm so excited, but so bummed that i have to wait a week each time xD

I tried to explain this last time, every time Emerald uses her semblance there is a sound effect. When Qrow saved Amber the sound effect played and all of the villains faces were blurred. I think this show is far more subtle than you give it credit for. Almost everything you bring up as a plot hole ends up having been previously explained. Also, Pyrrha flipped out because Jaune essentially told her to give up on him and her own wishes in life. Granted, he did not have all the details so its not really his fault.

Qrowe

It's worth mentioning that there was a wor between episodes 6 and 7, titled maidens

Juniper

It's about to get real

Of Butterflies and Books

Get ready for the serious feels train. Also, I kind of like to think that Qrow's main concern was focused on Amber and he just wanted to get her out of there as soon as possible. Plus, they only fought for like a second and then, they were gone.

Thank you, i with you dude, I keep up with the subties of the show!--- And don't forget this is their first watch where as we have watched it several times so they won't pick up everything! Something I have to remind myself with the Avatar reactions as I know that show inside out and it can get fustrating when they miss something. then its often made worst by those in the comments that don't realise the subtleties either :) smile face for u :) :) :) C3

Skeletor

My whole feeling is its was wrong of Ozpin, Crow and Iron Wood to assume best defense was to hope for 1 person Pyrra too save all when if as me the series is not named after her its named after RWBY the four team members and So I think they in the end will be the ones to save everyone. I look as Jaune as a Steady Rock who is someone like Yang and Rubys Dad who has a part to play but may be no more then someone who later may help Ruby when she has low confidence. I like Jaune's team but I just feel RWBY will somehow save everyone and not need too be a Maiden.

Supermonaman

This is a really great episode because of the character development and more plot revelations. I love how Weiss and Ruby immediately jump to Yang’s defense. I’m glad that her teachers also know Yang isn’t the type of person who would attack someone who is defenseless. Also from the way ironwood was talking about the stress of battle I think he might have some form of PTSD. This probably has to do with his right arm which is always completely covered because most people think he has a mechanical arm. It's disappointing that team RWBY are disqualified but at least Yang wasn't thrown in jail. The scene where Yang asks if her team believes her is heartwarming and heartbreaking. I love how Weiss the person you’d think would not believe her does which shows how much she has grown. Yang tearing up and the way she says Blake's name is just heartbreaking. It makes sense that Blake would not immediately believe her because she has experienced something similar with Adam. I do like the way she confirms Yang isn’t lying. I love that most of the people who know Yang even a little bit knows there was a reason she did what she did. I love that Blake prefers tea over coffee. I feel really bad for Pyrrha because she's just putting on a happy facade. I love the antics between Nora and Ren when they try to help Pyrrha get one ready for the tournament. I also love how they argue like an old married couple. I love how Jaune notices that Pyrrha is upset. I like that Qrow’s nickname for Yang is firecracker. Yang only mentioning meeting Raven once means the last scene of volume 2 hasn’t happened yet. The information we get and the way Qrow talks about Raven makes me think she's an antihero. I can't wait to find out what Yang going to do with whatever information Qrow gives her. I love how Nora immediately realizes Jaune wants to be alone with Pyrrha. She's basically a wingman for both of them. I love how heartwarming and adorable the relationship between Jaune and Pyrrha is. I love how supportive they are of each other. They both used to not be very happy and helped each other start to get over the issues that they have. I love the symbolism with the Maple leaves. The conversation they have is great but upsetting once Pyrrha starts freaking out. It got worse once Jaune tries to reassure her but ends up unintentionally telling her to go for her dream even if it means giving up her happiness and him. Pyrrha accidentally using her semblance against Jaune shows that when someone's emotionally distraught they can lose control of their semblance. I really feel like eventually on this show Pyrrha is going to die. Velvet is completely adorable and I think the camera she uses is part of her weapon. I think her semblance can use her pictures to use other people's weapons by transforming her camera into the weapons. I love how she inadvertently helps Ruby start to figure out what's really going on. I love that Ruby is the one who figures out what's really going on once see saw Emerald. The final scene is amazing especially because of how cocky Mercury is. Also I think the Mercury we see is real but it could be an illusion. The horror on Ruby's face and in her voice is exactly how I was feeling. Also someone to pick up that phone because I fucking called the next match being Pyrrha vs Penny. Also I believe Ruby’s Semblance is faster than Mercury so all she has to do next episode is run as fast as she can and find someone who can help. Also out of the group of Pyrrha, Penny and Ruby I think something really bad is going to happen to at least one of them.

Matthew B

rewatch 3:7 you can see that cinder disguised everyone's faces with heat wave distortions. That's why qrow didn't recognize mercury, but mercury recognizes qrow. The writers of this show are a kinda lazy, but not THAT lazy.

SinDeux

I think that was Emerald that disguised all their faces

SinDeux

I think Ozpin is betting on Ruby to save them all, just because of how he's talking in the beginning of episode one and he says "a simple soul" and then it shows Ruby. He was also watching Ruby in the forest and he's always there to give Ruby a pep-talk. I think he wanted Pyrrha to be the Fall Maiden, but he wants Ruby to save the world in the end.

Two things I want to point out that you seem to have missed. First, it seems like you might have missed that Yang's mom's name is Raven Second, the reason Qrow doesnt recognise Mercury is because if you go back and watch the scene where Qrow sees them you will see that Emerald is using her semblance to blur their faces.

Skeletor

I have a Question the guys asked or rather Eric did. Why did They Set up Yang. Were they that afraid of Any Of RWBY'S team or did they want to maybe take out Pyrra and Yang would have been harder to use Emerald little trick in a fight.

Anonymous

Remember that the Grim are attracted to negative emotions, the stronger and more widely felt the negative emotions, the more Grim are attracted to it (both in numbers and intensity). In episode 7, after the flashback, they switch through a few news reports, including one mentioning a spike in Grim activity in the Vale area.

Skeletor

I personally think Blake was the most mature person of the Students other then Pyrra but I think Pyrra has social weaknesses and Blake too. Blake fear is what would Adam do too her friends and Blake is seen as a coward when she runs but really she has wisdom Yang lacks. Ruby is string but she doesnt know why she is important. In a way I think RWBY gains most respect from Cinders Crew because she wont give up a fight and has no agendas of fears.

Anonymous

hey buddy looks like spoilers in there. probably edit or remove your comment please.

Skeletor

I think while it sound like spoilers some what they are not meant too be for Eric and The The Guys know who Adam is and Blake has ran off before. Really I made no comment and anything they didnt know about Blake and Adam . I assure you i was not talking about the finale with Blake and Adam. I was pretty much commenting on Blake s flaw that Yang does not have. Yang does not process another day for her most powerful is near defeat and yet we know how dangerous Yangs leads her life really with her symbalence.

Indexsage

man I cant wait for there reaction to the next episode of rwby its going to be intense
