I don't like Carols story arc since last season. They made her a bad ass and she was cool and completely ruthless when needed but then changed her character back to being that weak little mouse from season 1. I don't like it, it's a complete reversal of character. I think it's a terrible waste of a great character

I honestly don't get Carol's motivations at all. Ignoring the fact that this is pretty much a complete turnaround in no time at all. It just doesn't make sense in any realistic story telling. What's the point of living if you purposefully avoid everyone so that you are not close to anyone and have no reason to kill. She obviously has a desire to be close to people, and has to leave to avoid it, so what is the point of going on anymore. She might as well just kill herself.

Will you put episode 1 of season 2 of Avatar up early?

Sure, maybe on the surface you could say that she's being selfish. But the way I see it is that after everything that Carol has been through and done for the group over the past seasons, she deserves to be a little selfish. She has never once asked for gratitude for saving everyone's lives multiple times. She's in a place now where she is questioning and hesitating when it comes to taking someone's life which she knows could end up hurting the people she cares about. She is just tired of losing people and feels that if she doesn't have people around her that she cares about, the only person she has to protect is herself. I can see it both ways and I definitely think the writing wasn't great for her last season, but knowing this character, she really needs to let herself grieve all of the people she has lost and process what she has had to do on her own. We've had multiple characters have break downs after traumatic events, but Carol has just kept going until it all caught up with her. I'm sure she will go back to being the badass Carol that we love, but first she has to deal with some things and figure out what she wants out of this life. Sorry, I just have to defend my girl :)

Doesn't make a lick of sense. If the people she is killing are trying to kill her loved ones, then they deserve to die anyway. If she isn't around to help her loved ones, then the only difference is, they will die without her protection, how does this help anyone? She is being really selfish and seems to just be trying to alleviate her guilt at being a good survivor which she should never be ashamed of.

I've been frustrated with carol lately. I can understand the development of the character but I feel like at this point she's gone through so much that this is a wrong move on her point. Being alone can make someone crazy
