No cuase he was in two places at once maybe there is a part of him that is alive and it will become full by the finale

Yes, then the show will reveal he's alive and tease him for next season but wait until season 3 finale to meet with heroes again. Wait, sorry Shade this comment was meant for Starman.

I think it would cheapen his good deed of rescuing our characters if he turns out to be alive.

When Eclipso dies/get trapped some of his darkness goes to the Shade and resurrect him.

They clearly said he was in two locations so hopefully he'll be back. He's been my favourite character this season

One thing I remembered when watching this reaction was that Shade used to be a con man. He could be pulling a Loki & making it seem like he died while doing something good so 1. No one looks for him & 2. They actually spread the word that he died doing a selfless act. If we don't see him again, I won't mind that he actually did die doing something good, but will be sad he won't be coming back 'cause I love the character.

I have a feeling he's still alive on the basis that the Lantern ring's tracking said he was in two places at once. So obviously the cinema was one of the locations but did anyone check the 2nd area?

I agree with Eric, why would they set up that there are two shades, mans gonna pull a Gabriel from Supernatural, basically "surprise bitch, bet you thought you'd seen the last of me"

I feel like his body is dead for now, but he may be "alive" in the shadow world, and maybe there could be someway at the end after defeating Eclipso they use the gem to power up the shade and he could take physical form again, but I am not getting my hopes up because this show has kept on screen deaths pretty permanent so far.
