He will see the error of his ways in the finale

Christian Bolda

I think by the end of the season they’ll take out his chip but he’ll chose to be an imperial I think it’d be a super interesting storyline that way

SpeedyCat19

I feel like they're all gonna die at the end, so I have no idea what option that falls under

Anonymous

I think the Batch will be forced to kill him or they’ll get the chip out of his head and he’ll rejoin.

Anonymous

The rest of the bad batch will possibly die, seeing the error of his ways, he will remove his inhibitor chip and give Omega the freedom she deserves

If this show is gonna go for multiple seasons, which I hope it does, I’d like to see something like that happen gradually. Where throughout the seasons we’ll see inklings of Crosshairs soul underneath his programming, ending in him rejoining the Bad Batch, with a new perspective. I think that would be a rewarding multiple season long story.

Joel

Feel like he might die, but would like if he rejoins them.

Trevor Darnell

I'm 50/50 on whether he'll rejoin the team. But I hope that if/when the remove his inhibitor chip team that he still decides to stay with the Empire. Would be a sadder outcome but show that maybe some clones remained loyal to the Empire, & would be a nice change of pace.

Andrew Inman

This season might be about them learning more and eventually removing crosshair's inhibitor chip. Though they could save that for a later season.

Anonymous

I don't think he'd rejoin. They would have to capture and subdue him then remove the chip. The big issue for me is that I don't think they'll have access to the tools that they would need to remove the chip.

Anonymous

He will join them after they reprogram the chip, but die helping Omega escape.

Anonymous

He is too far gone. He will either get killed fighting against the bad batch, or he will regain his senses at the last minute and sacrifice his life for them.

Anonymous

I think this will carry on untill the second season when they will finally manage to remove the chip. But untill then Crosshair will hunt them almost catching them at some point.

Anonymous

I think he'll choose to serve the Empire even after his chip is messed up

Anonymous

There is a chance he could, omega appeared to connect with him when they were imprisoned.

Dip602

I think he will die at the end of the season

Anonymous

I believe Crosshair will not rejoin the team, but will realize the error in his ways, and save them while going out like a badass

Anonymous

I think most of the season he will be the antagonist but either he overcomes the inhibitor chip controlling him and sacrifices himself to save them from something or the bad batch removes the chip from him since they already know about Rex’s experience with taking it out

Etsch

I think either he will die himself and be unable to join, or he will kill one of the other four (hunter most likely imo) due to the inhibitor chip before echo and tech are able to take it out. He would join after and be wracked with guilt.

Azurai

I think either A) He will have his chip removed and still choose to join the Empire B) Have his chip removed and sacrifice himself to save the team I don't see him actually being able to re-join.

Goracyi

Anyone else already wondering if The Bad Batch will follow in TCW's footsteps and break our hearts in new, unexpected ways? I hope so XD

Neil

I'm guessing season one will have a few close calls and a climactic moment where they almost free him or are almost captured by him.

Anonymous

He has to. His sniping is too cool

Anonymous

I feel like he has to be killed by Hunter or omega because that would make a really big impact. But I will miss his sick snipe skills especially with it collaborating with the others.

Anonymous

I don’t know if he will rejoin but I really don’t want him to rejoin. I think it would be cool to have him be the leader of some kind of death trooper squad.

Anonymous

i think what will happen is that all of them will turn expect for omega and hunter and they will fight and rex will join them

Anonymous

I think he will die from the empire

Anonymous

Could you imagine if he recruited Cody to help fight the bad batch

Anonymous

Gotta be a reason Fennec Shand is coming into the show. Sniper role has gotta be filled. Crosshair will die.

CommanderL

I would love if they remove Crosshairs chip and he remains a villian by choice. I think he either dies a hero or remains a villian maybe he does survive. but it seems most unlikely I also think a fun scenario is he survives, but does not rejoin the team and goes into the galaxy to find himself after regaining his memories that way he can show up in a hype moment later in the next season

Liesmith

I think he was set up to be so absurdly overpowered compared to the rest of the team specifically so he could later be turned into an antagonist for them.

Skeletor

He will get the chip removed but die saving there lives and be killed by Commander Cody the true founder of the Dark Troopers.

Anonymous

I don't want him to re join the team simply because I know Aaron likes him lol

Joshua Krienke

I’m not sure but I hope he does because he works so well with them and it would be a shame if we never saw them together again because man that move where he shot the knife was awesome.

Si1ence32

I predict that some time during the end of the season they'll find a way to remove his inhibitor chip (likely learning about it from Rex), and Crosshair will rejoin the team. I also believe that this will result in the next set of villains, either next season or during the second half of the season, to be a rival squad of modified clones.

Ragnarok

Cut’s still got his inhibitor chip, it just never activated because he was never relayed the Order 66 instructions. How horrible will it be if he’s activated like the rest of the Clones when some Imperial recognizes him while they’re on the run? I’m just imagining him going cold, turning and leaving his family, maybe even imprisoning them…

Anonymous

I think Crosshair is the perfect Bad Batch to go "bad" so to speak. The other members have more personality. I like the idea of him being the one after the rest of the team. Maybe in future seasons he will rejoin. But for now, I say no.

Axis 77

I think he will nobly rejoin the team to then sacrifice himself to save them from a trap of his own design in the following act.

Sara-Jayne

I think the show might be about the bad batch freeing clones by chip removal. So eventually they’ll save him and he’ll rejoin the team. Just a side question. Do you think Omega could be trans? It seems unlikely that if mutations are not uncommon that only one in millions would be female. You’d expect the kaminoans would’ve mastered controlling chromosomes to grow male sexed soldiers. Im trans myself and always looking for representation so thats definitely my head cannon going forward.

AB-5

Even though I have a different idea for Crosshair, I've gotta admit I'd love to see Fennec have that role.

AB-5

I'd have him rejoin the team, but changed from the experience and perhaps struggling with his position. If his turn was later in the season (thinking of a certain S.H.I.E.L.D. character), I'd think it was more likely permanent.

Oblivion'sLegend

I think she might either be a pet project by one of the Kaminoans to see if making a female clone out of male DNA was possible, or a defect that they found so interesting that they didn't just kill her after birth. She doesn't seem to have been stuck with janitorial duty like 99 so she must have someone's favor. As far as I know transgenderism isn't chromosomal (in the sense of XX or XY chromosomes) though anyways, so I'd find the idea very unlikely to be true unless some intentional meddling was done by a Kaminoan.

Anonymous

I think it feels a bit "cheap" or "easy" to have him get de-chipped and re-join. Seems like we just did that with Rex... I actually would like a Vader-esque last minute realization that overrides the chip (since his was abnormal anyway) and a redemption sacrifice?

Alexa Chipman

I think he will rejoin briefly on a specific mission that they can all agree on, but not permanently.

Darth Skhorrn

I think he's going to stay the antagonist until the end of the series, then either make a meaningful sacrifice or force one of the Bad Batch to kill him; most likely Hunter or Omega as her first kill.

Anonymous

Unfortunately, I think he's turned for good. He might become the ground work for purge troop commanders in the near future? Maybe eventually getting taken out by Cal Kestis at Kyyyalstaad Falls were he has BD-1 scan him to update his tactical guide? IDK...

Anonymous

I think he will have to be killed, unfortunately. It's that, or else maybe he goes on to be some character from the OT. Actually, I think it would be heartbreakingly cool if the show killed off each member of the bad batch one at a time, a la Halo Reach (but not "a la Rogue One"). Each character getting an honorable (or perhaps dishonorable, in crosshair's case) sendoff.

Anonymous

They will subdue him and take out his chip, also we've seen chain codes in the Mandalorian, Boba uses it to prove his armer was his

E. P. Haury

I want to know the extent of what chain codes are required for. Will there be more reasons the Empire will require people to get one beyond currency exchange and space travel? Is one reason why Luke was safe on Tatooine because it was controlled by the Hutts, who wouldn’t necessarily enforce those laws? On worlds directly ruled by the Empire, would buying power converters require the use of a chain code?
