Why did Eric bring Rick? lol It really is too bad how the build up and momentum of the last "episode" is broken up between the first hr and second hr on the Blu-ray/streaming service. Even putting a commercial break there seems like too much. The pace of our characters walking through the jungle ends with a dull nothing at the end of the last episode and then suddenly the smoke appears at the beginning of the third hr in a blink or you'll miss it appearance before the people watching have even gotten the chance to get settled in. The beginning of an episode is just not the right time for such a huge reveal to happen. It just disrupts the flow. I couldn't imagine waiting a whole day to watch the next part for the first time. The mood of them slowly going through the jungle is just so utterly interrupted by a "To Be Continued", whereas it kept going the night it aired with a commercial just before the smoke was looking down on Locke as a suitable cliffhanger.

As always, I'm so appreciative for all you do, Blind Wave. Lost is an epic show, and I'm so happy to see Rick viewing it for the first time ( as well as Eric rewatching it). Man, why did Hulu make so many pointless cuts to the last episode of lost, lol. I was watching using my DVD, and the amount of times I had to resync the show, because Hulu would just suddenly cut 5 seconds ahead was annoying, only happened on this episode too, haven't had this issue really with previous episodes. Nothing important, no dialogue or anything, just lingering shots would get shortened... The only really big "cut" was where they reedited scene in a different order, the scene with Lock at the Airport, and the scene with Michael and Sawyer talking on the raft right before hearing the beeping, were swapped. Now I doubt it was Hulu, I'm guessing these were probably edits to the Blu-ray release, which Hulu is using, (I'm using the original DVDs) It was just bizarre, that all the previous episodes were untouched (Even the 1st 2 parts of the finale), then suddenly this episode, the 3rd part of the last episode of the season, they decided to go ham on it. I don't think it really effects their viewing experience (outside of the very out of place cut between part 2 and 3) Just an observation that I found very interesting. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for any other changes they may have made, hopefully nothing major.
