"Evil × And × Terrible"

As the top echelons of the NGL are killed by the Chimera Ants who claim their weapons and facilities, the team of Hunters under attack is also taken down, but not before Ponzu sends a message to warn the Hunter Association that ends up on Kite's hands. As he instructs the others to turn back and call for reinforcements, Kite decides to check up the situation further, accompanied by just Gon and Killua.

i never noticed that little touch. Ponzu told the bee to find the hunter with the strongest nen, and the bee landed on Gon. I like that bit of foreshadowing.

Considering how this arc is I'm pretty sure as they go on the discussions are going to get a lot more deeper and longer guys, I'm not too worried. Anyways I'm glad you didn't mind the long narration for Gyro's backstory, some people act like the narrator ruins everything when he's a great storytelling tool

Y’all should cut them some slack, only those who have watched the anime know how bigger the plot thickens, so all the details leading up to the end of the arc seem so obvious now. To them it seems like some simple monster hunt so what they see is what they get.

This is a pretty demoralizing episode as a first-time viewer. I remember I almost didn't want to continue watching the show after this episode. I can totally understand if their mood was too down to have a longer discussion. It'll be fine you guys. They're obviously still interested in the show

Lol when the Hunter X Hunter reaction discussions start out like 10-30 minutes, they are now equal or less each week than the dragon ball super discussions, Love you guys but thats hilarious to me. \

Her death always really got to me. So quick and then the shots after she’s already dead really made me hate that ant. Don’t worry though guys, this is one of the best arcs in anime for a reason. There’s much more to go and it’s gonna be one hell of a ride

For me, she was far from the best character in the series but when she died, I was so shaken I took a break from the series. :(

Kite and the Narrator were also alluding to the fact that Chimera Ants take on not only the physical but the psychological aspects of their prey. Much like Colt displays some of the virtues of the little boy that was eaten. Kite and the Narrator knew that the NGL and their leaders were not the best people and harbored many psychos and madmen willing to kill innocents.
