Lucifer has rules he will follow, but only if they're rules that he's made for himself. This show plays a lot with the idea that the reason Lucifer initially rebelled was because he was angry about not being allowed Free Will when God gave it to Man, and also whether or not his rebellion was actually a free choice or if that was what God wanted all along.

I’d been meaning to watch this show for years and have just finished a binge. I enjoyed its balance of drama with comedy and found it a lot of fun to watch. I’m going to enjoy watching your reactions to this one.
