noooooo! Another Steins; Gate blocked in my country (Japan). And poor me can't afford a VPN atm ;__; Can you please consider making steins; gate avalible somwhere else as well?

HybridThizzle

It's not up to them where it's available it's the company that owns Steins;Gate. There are browser extension vpns that give week long trials you can try them. The one I used last was for Firefox and called SetupVPN. If you can't find a free vpn trial dm me and I can help you figure something out.

Now that I heard Skeksis, can there be a poll option to react to the Dark Crystal?

The discussion at the end is really primitive single-universe small brain thought, except for Rick. You guys are not thinking in multiverses. This Shiny Finger's didn't kill Mayuri and may not even have the personality to do so. She's just a person being manipulated who ends up killing herself, and for all you know in other timelines when she's welcome in the lab she might not even be a "cultist". It's like saying Superman is a terrible person because in a few timelines out of an infinite he becomes a murderous villain.

Platosnephelinitic

thing with this argument is with infinite universes there's a universe where she join the lab and shes a an amazing person, nobel peace prize, solves world hunger all that but that's not the shinning finger we know. The shinning finger we know is the cultist who killed mayuri

For Eric, some doors open out in Japan for cleaning purposes and because they have the room for you to take your shoes off and put on your slippers.

Erich Bomke

Not really. 99% of North American commercial doors open outwards to meet with fire safety standards, while home doors open inwards to facilitate home safety and security with the hinges on the interior of the structure.

Yeah Moeka is definitely an antagonist, but come on can't not feel sorry for her. We all hate her for the unforgivable choices she chose to make: killing sweet innocent Mayuri. But this is someone who has had social anxiety issues and has felt isolated all her life. It's totally understandable that she would form an unhealthy obsession with the first person that gave her meaning and "friendship." Her unstable relationship was probably so meaningful to her that she was willing to betray these total strangers no matter how friendly they supposedly are. In her mind, FB has stuck with her for who knows how long, she's willing to do anything for FB, the lab mems are nothing but strangers. It's sad that she was manipulated, but yeah we still can't fully blame Moeka. I really like how this series has it's villains, but the true villain of the story is SERN. When you peel it all back, they all are working for them. We don't know how many of them are forced into this life or manipulated into it like Moeka.

Claiming that people in cults don't deserve sympathy is...certainly a take. It kind of feels like an attitude that comes from someone who thinks they wouldn't fall victim to such manipulations, but that's the thing: it's not about the person being manipulated as much as it is about the manipulator. Add in the fact that people who are in vulnerable situations are often targets, and yeah I've got a lot of sympathy for people who have been victims of cults. It doesn't excuse any murdering of course, but if someone is manipulated into violent acts, the one who is truly to blame *is* that manipulator, though that doesn't absolve their victim of blame either. And don't get me wrong, I understand not having empathy for Moeka right now. I didn't my first time around, and Okabe feeling the way he does about her is pretty reasonable. The cult thing was just a weird statement imo.

Imagine calling people losers for not having any friends in high school and stuff. Comon Shane, be better.

We're one unit closer to a world line without Shane.

Moeka is a freeter with social anxieties. Those types of people have actually been made into drones for criminal organizations through message boards, IRC and texts in real life.
