As far as Obi-Wan and his anger, just imagine all the times he must have wanted to talk to Qui-Gon over the last few years. Whenever he was having difficulties with Anakin or his training, every time there was a morally grey decision to make during the war, or even to share the good things like Obi-Wan joining the Jedi Council. So it's not just Qui-Gon's death and Obi-Wan being forced to watch it that Maul is calling up, it's all the days he's had to live without his Master. Having to confront that again in the middle of a fight would throw anyone off balance.

Pretty cool that reactions to season 4 Maul and season 7 Maul are happening at the same time.

Looking back at this episode, kinda crazy to think how maul is overpowering Obi even tho hes been out of commission for years. Like where is the rust at lol.
