Ride of the Valkyries for me i just love it whenever i hear it in a show or a movie

Oleg

The theme from "Love Story" is actually the theme from a soviet TV show about russian spy in Germany, which is very famous in post-soviet countries. So that cracked me a bit.

I love me some Wagner, but I did love that Bowie version, and Nightclubbing is a fantastic song. Really hard choice, but I went for Bowie in the end.

Joel

Sorry Bowie got to give it to the Valkyries

I would have voted Bowie...just loved when I heard it. But the theme from The Shining hit me hard at the moment they played it, it's so easily identified and being one of the most creepiest bits of music ever gave me instant chills. Like Eric mentioned, bonus marks cause Lena Waithe (who plays Ash) was in the movie Ready Player One which also featured the Shining.

I might be in the minority but I really did not enjoy the whole “Genre” drug-trip element of this episode. It didn’t reveal anything new about Caleb’s character or do anything for his part in the plot (which I still don’t understand why he’s in this story). It felt half heartedly executed and lazy since they just played a song and slapped on an Instagram filter. What was the point narratively?

It's hard to pick, each of these was special, but I go with Space Oddity - the scene itself is already powerful, but the song almost raises it even more as an unique moment. Loved it!

Man, Dolores is trying to wake everyone from their programming and the same people who were cheering her on to wake up the hosts are now against her waking up the human race. Also I know she wants to end the human race but in my defense I’m a sucker for Evan Rachel Wood, she’s gorgeous.

Jason Parker

Hearing space oddity like that gave me chills.

I much preferred the last song Emerge by Fischerspooner

Jerick E

I still prefer the one that played last week during the auction scene and Dolores vs. Stubbs fight called Wicked Games - a cover by Ramin Djawadi

Ride of the Valkyries is one of those great pump-up songs that just also happen to sound classy.

Space Oddity was my favorite, but I have to say I was underwhelmed with the whole Genre drug execution. It's one of the best ideas for a drug I've ever seen in television, and it felt completely wasted. I would have fully gone for it, having every scene with Caleb from his perspective and really making it feel like we were in that genre of movie, rather than just adding music
