Do you think Carol actually saw the group of whispers that ran off into the forest or was it a hallucination?

Dip602

Definitely 99.9 % real

Doby Greg

We see a dead whisperer she shot at the end. They were real.

I do think they are real, but why would 3 whispers run onto the group’s territory right after their conversation with alpha, it doesn’t make any sense🤔

Anonymous

I don’t think they’re real if you think about how good Daryll is at tracking plus their entire camp they would have found some sort of evidence they were there, and yet nothing was found

Joel

Pretty sure they where real, especially with the shot whisperer at the end, either way don't do drugs

Dylan Allardice

If they were real, Daryl would of found their tracks but in saying this, why did she hallucinate random whispers instead of alpha?

I think they were real, isn’t that what the last shot of the episode was trying to show us?

Anonymous

I think they were real, but i'm kinda hoping there are fake to show how on edge carol actually is and maybe if she ends up killing alpha it makes that even sweeter since she would have overcame her paranoia.

Poopyhead

Abdikadir

We actually saw that she shot one of them

I think they were real. Correct me if I am wrong but the only CERTAIN hallucinations and/ or dreams were of Henry and Daryl? A.K.A Carol's subconscious hope. Carol said she wasn't afraid of Alpha or the Whisperers. I think while she is tired and fatigued, her ONE focus is the whisperers and therefore it's real.

The Doctor

They were real. Marshmallows are real too. I like marshmallows. But Marshmallow is a strange word. The whisperers are also strange.

Jack's World

I'm getting very aggravated with how Carol is acting while they are literally completely ignoring Ezekiel dealing with the loss of HIS SON. I want to see Zeke dealing with it because that's NEW. Carol dealing with it for the 7th damn time or so is just not interesting to me as a fan of the show anymore and I just really get annoyed more and more every time they do that repeated storyline with her. I really think Alpha did not send the Walkers to ASZ, I agree with Eugene, it's likely from the satellite. Carol saying she doesn't feel anything when she looks at Alpha is a HUGE lie, she just needs to find some way to deal with the constant loss she doesn't know how to deal with. She really needs to stop taking pills and cope with the fact that a lot of her loss is her fault and accept it. Or just run away like she used to because it's putting everyone else in danger. Wait for the right moment, or don't act out. I really hate the way they're handling Eugene too, it's bugging me a LOT. I also really think Siddiq had something to do with what happened with the pike victims. I NEED a Negan backstory episode or mini series. His wife, making the bat, him joining the Saviors and taking over leadership from Simon etc. It would be phenomenal with how great of an actor JDM is. He has rational thoughts and is redeemable. They need to accept that he is part of their group now & is willing to help.

Lisa Marie

I honestly don't know or care. Whenever a character starts hallucinating in this show I zone out.

I think they were real. The whisperers could easily end Alexandria with the herd but Alpha doesn't just want to end them. She wants to teach her own followers that communities like Alexandria can't work. Her followers are starting to notice that communities are possible and life elsewhere is blossoming. So instead of outright attacking Alexandria, Alpha's wearing them down, making them turn on each other, feeding their fear and paranoia. That way, Alexandria will destroy itself, further proving to Alpha's followers that communities don't work and HER way is the best way. She's batshit crazy of course but she's smart.

Deadpool

She at least saw one
