Fun fact! The actor who plays Hughie is Jack Quaid, son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan. To me he looks just like his mom.

I'm ashamed to admit but I watched the entire series and never noticed Hughie's dad was being played by Simon Pegg. I had to read about it somewhere after the fact. The man is unrecognizable with an American accent!

This is based on a comic created/written by Garth Ennis (Preacher, Punisher Max) fun fact: In the comics Hughie's appearance is based on Simon Pegg. Since he's too old at this point to play him, he was cast as his dad.

Clearly you guys have never gone through panic attacks, but Hughie was experiencing one every time he saw A Train's face. I'm happy to see he was able to overcome his fear when he came face to face with the "hero". Hughie's metamorphosis might've started slowly but now that he killed one of the 7, I'm looking forward to see how he changes as a person.

Quick question, isn’t the 2nd episode of The Boys supposed to be uploaded the same time as the first for early access? Any idea where it is, or did they just not have time to watch it yet? I think I remember Eric saying during the 1st episode that it should be up? Just curious, not that big of a deal really.

Each episode is put up a week early on Patreon. Since this is episode 1, Patreon users get access but it's not available for general audiences on YouTube until next week.
