After all that, no way. Arya is Death and will become Queenslayer, and Sansa will become Queen of the North. Idc about Jon supported Daenarys way too much and didn't question her decisions enough.

There is no way she can live after all of this. Honestly, once the writers took over rather than working from the books, I think they had to take into account the current political situations in the world. Dany making the conscious decision to burn people means that the worldwide populous as a whole (because let's face it, this is one of the most widely viewed shows in history, if not the most) will not accept her not dying. Her fate was sealed the moment she chose to actively disregard the option to just BURN CERSEI and kill innocents.

Dany, Her character arc went to shit. I’m also disappointed in Jamie. All that redemption just to go back to Cersi and the way they both died, I hated it. Cersi should of suffered more.

She isn't making it out of the next episode alive. Jon will probably have to finish her off. He has seen how mad she can get and that she isn't right for the throne. He'll off her but probably will still refuse the throne. Drogon might also just kill her. Maybe Jon has some sort of psychic connection with Drogon because of him being a Targaryen and then Drogon turns on Dany and just eats her. That'd be funny.

Agreed. She went insane because apparently sometimes Targaryens go insane and that’s all the justification/foreshadowing the show needed. It felt completely unearned from a writing perspective.

I say Arya will try to kill Dany for Dany trying to kill Jon. Drogon will turn on Dany and Jon will either reluctantly take the throne or give it to Gendry. Or in a surprise twist Bran or Sansa will assume control just to have a full circle for everything the Lannisters have put the Starks through. I'm very disappointed by the way they chose to portray Dany after so much character building she has had for the better. I guess going off of the story arc A Song Of Ice and Fire is the best option at the point

I have to say, I fully disagree with the idea that this is “character assassination” for Dany. This has been a long time coming. The show and books have both foreshadowed multiple times that she will make a villainess turn. There’s is even an interview with Martin where he is talking about Dany where he says, “she had a taste of peace and decided she liked the taste of war better.” By definition, if she was always meant to become the villain, it’s not character assassination. Even tho, we liked her, this is who she always has been. Her father’s daughter. That said, if the argument is that the turn felt too sudden, I’ll agree. There should have been an episode between the last one and this one where we see her starting to become more and more unhinged. I can also say that, either way, Emilia Clarke gave the performance of her career in the episode.

Danerys is the only one that can leave us with an ambiguous ending. Anyone else on the throne will land squarely in the good or bad thresholds wrapping the show up in a neat bow. Hopefully we'll be left wondering if "The Bells" was just a fit of emotional anguish and grief or the first of many horrifying acts as queen. Any other person on the throne would be a boring ending in my opinion.

The people who can't understand Dany's path need to look at actual news. How many situations do we get where a perfectly normal person, they are described by family and friends as a lovely and kind person, do horible and monstorus things? It happens quite a lot so it's not completly out of nowhere that Dany just snapped and did all this. In her mind everyone had betrayed her, throughout this season we have seen her slowly crumble into madness. I hate this because as Calvin said we have seen our hero become a villian and it hurts me. With crazy people though we need to put logic aside because as we know crazy people don't think logically. Fantastic episode.

My guess is that Arya will try to kill her but she will somehow fail and end up being burned to death. It is no secret that Arya is Jon's favourite and her death combined with the massacre of King's Landing might be what Jon needs in order to be able to betray Daenerys and kill her.

After letting the madness take over and her killing innocent people there is no way she should be able to rule. I know people think Arya will be the one to end her but after she took out the big bad already I think Jon has to be the one to kill her as he was taught by Ned that in season one the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword and take responsibility for his own decisions.

Feel like Arya is going to take out Dany maybe. But I wanted to mention that it’s amazing that the Arya in the city scene was planned and shot as a huge one shot with her running around the rubble and explosions. It wasn’t until editing when the editors found that cutting with the Clegan Bowl would be better. As an Editor for at least 15 years most of that interchanging cuts were fantastic!

She'll probably die. Which is annoying. But im hoping that before she does, we'll get a scene with her standing in the throne room, with the ceiling collapsed in and ash everywhere and it'll be a call back to her visions from season 2 in the house of the undying. If we get that i'll be pretty satisfied.

The dragon should have died in this ep instead of the last one. She already had the loss of Jorah and the Jon thing to create cracks in her psychy. Which would be widened by the execution of her closes female friend. So, if the dragon died in this battle, it would work much better as the final push in her descend into madness.

While her dying is extremely likely, I think it's also quite possible that she might feel remorse for her lapse, realize she doesn't deserve the throne and take her eastern forces to rule back in Mereen

She will live, and sit on the "throne" and the story will have come full circle with the Mad (King) Queen back on the throne. Jon will exile himself to North of the wall. Tyrion will be executed, And all the kingdoms, including Sansa in the north, will have no choice but to bend the knee. And in the epilogue, we will see Sansa, Arya and Gendry plotting to rebel against the "Mad Queen" Dany, and put Gendry on the throne. Essentially bringing us right back to the very beginning of this show.

I honestly can't decide, but she's never been a favourite of mine and even though I suspected she'd do what she did, I hated seeing it. I hope she does die, so maybe she'll live, to my a worse ruler than those before? Ironically my initial favourite book characters were always Tyrion and Arya and later I added Jaime and on screen I added Brienne, so those remaining three are the only ones I care about.

A slight part of me has a worry that the ending of the show will be either Jon or Tyrion on their knees about to be executed, in a mirroring of Ned's death, with them thinking about everything they've been through, all they've sacrificed, and how they've put another tyrant on throne. The ultimate moral being that history repeats itself and there are no grand happy endings.

Jon has to kill her. But after not seeing what Dany became and the possibility of it happening to him, not to mention having to kill someone he cares about, Jon is done. I think Torman really gave us a hint, Jon s going north. I think he might become a nomad kind of like the main character in the first dune book.

I would be so happy if they ended it with Jon in the true north with Tormund, Ghost and the rest of the wildlings. Also if it could be revealed that one of Dany's dragons was a female and had laid eggs somewhere out there, that would be amazing!!
