It's Happening!!!

Blind Wave is proud to announce a new weekly series to the channel, Movie Nights! One week, you'll get a commentary to a movie we all know and love, the next week, a movie reaction to something the crew has never seen. It would be smart to have sound in the first few minutes so we can sync up really easily. Youn can just sync up the sounds. :)

With all the movies and TV shows fans have sent over the years, it's something I was hoping would happen.

based on my experience with your full length show content, I know they always go out of sync, even if I press play at the same time, I end up resyncing with the background audio multiple times per episode. In a much longer video with no resync option this will be problematic... this is probably due differing framerates either between sources or at some point during the many conversions on the way to the final youtube file.

One thing might want to change do it so people can hear it like do for the tv shows. Just sounds like a regular podcast. Recommend do commentary but leave the sound of the movie on

That doesn't make sense. Everybody else syncs it just fine. It's a problem on your end, probably one of your video feeds micro-buffering.

Hey this is awesome, but some constructive criticism: I think sometimes you need some image reference, a small clip or just a still but not like a reaction, more like a citation. I don’t see this as a reaction is more like a podcast. Some movie reviewers use small clips a lot, I don’t see that much problem with it in terms of copyright but you guys know better then me. I imagine this more heavily edited too, I think expecting people to sinc to the movie is going to be hard, when you could have a more dynamic content, it would also take the awkward watching silence that will eventually happen. Just my opinion, love you guys.

Yes, but no. The guy they are asking about is the notorious Fake Wedge. The actor was originally cast as Wedge, then later dropped when he had trouble with his lines. The character was officially canonized as someone else two years ago in From a Certain Point of View. Also Wedge had a different third actor voicing him for both these two actors in ANH, until Lawson fully took over the role in ESB. That voice actor, David Ankrum, later returned to voice Wedge over the Yavin intercom in Rogue One.

It would be great, if possible, to put movie runtime into the video, sometimes I would like to skip to some specific moments to see what your commentary is.

I tried watching with Star Wars - Depecialized Edition 1976 720p MultiSource AC-3 x264-Harmy.mkv at the same time, starting at the same place at the end of the logo, but it went out of sync pretty fast. It was funny hearing them talk about all the new stuff. Are you sure those colors are supposed to be green?

Finally had a chance to watch this with you guys. Was very fun to see everyone talk about a movie I’ve watched so many times. Some fun facts I knew and some I didn’t. Was cool to see everyone and have everyone just enjoy an amazing movie.
