I like that Aaron's theory is actually plausible with the current information the show has given you, with the MP's killing people who knew too much an all.

Eren was eaten whole and Marcel wasn't. Marcel was eaten in bites instead. So the power can only transfer if the person who has it dies as they are eaten.

In order for a mindless titan to steal a titan-shifter's power, it has to digest their spinal fluid. that didn't happen with Eren because he transformed before that could happen.

Have you guys seen the outro? The song feels more like what we would expect from the series. Also, you guys have to see the outro in the last episode it has an after credits scene within it!
