Do you think the Future we see in the Flash Forwards will remain the same or eventually change?

Comments

Tumbili

I don't see how the future would change unless time travel is involved, which is the last thing this show needs.

Able

This is definitely a dystopia that will change. I hope it’s becuase of the actions of whoever the new Green Arrow is, Nora on Flash and maybe even Zari.

Sam K

I think it'll stay the same. This ain't the flash. Also I want to extend a branch to Aaron. I don't hate Beebo, but I do hate porgs so I'm with you there buddy.

I hope they change before this show goes full J J Abrams. I can't deal with that BS again

Anonymous

It will change when have we seen a future and it hadn't changed.

SpeedyCat19

I hope it changes. I don't like futures seem to be dystopias in these kind of shows

Matthew Cronin

I hope this is the same future that we've seen in Legends of Tomorrow, hopefully we'll get to see Grant Wilson before Oliver and the Legends defeat him.

Ashgar77

CW needs no consistency!

Tucker Lobner

I feel like it will be set because Arrow is pretty grounded and doesn't typically deal with time travel.

I Am Groot

If it changes I’ll be a bit disappointed. BUT i don’t want too much info from the flash forwards.

Nor gonna lie, I know it sounds crazy but I think Ricardo Diaz could be the new Green Arrow. He gains the trust of the team but makes excuses to not take off the mask. Diaz knows the weaknesses of all the team so it makes sense that he would also know how to gain their trust. It would also explain the fighting skills and how he knew about the crimes straight after they happen (he causes them)

Anonymous

I hope it changes because of something Nora might say during the crossover

This is arrow not flash so unless Barry fucks the timeline again I don't think so

So far the CW has been handling the "future" as possible (or alternate) futures, not definitive. It's possible that the whole Nora-situation on The Flash might have changed things and will continue to make changes but that kind of seems to be self-contained (so far...) I also don't think the writers would necessarily write themselves into a corner with a definitive future storyline. I agree with Eric that the new Green Arrow definitely appears to be a woman. And there is a character from the comics that [she] might be loosely based on...

Ragnarok

About the Green Arrow. Has to be future William...because of the saving of Zoe. He knew, somehow, that the only person in that building who hadn’t escaped and wasn’t capable of doing so was was tucked away in this tiny little room off to the side of...nowhere, really. That can only have come from future knowledge, especially since we’ve now seen that Will knew Zoe in the future, and she’d have told him what happened the day she became the Canary, presumably.

I think it'll remain the same, plus those flips i reckon are to make us think it’s Roy, but I reckon it’s a female, and one likely person could be Emiko from the comics making her debut.

Andrew Courtney

I hope for the most ridiculous things to happen we never see coming just like AoS.

Maybe they’re doing the thing from legends season 1 where the new deathstroke takes over star city... probably not though

Dip602

CHANGE IT LOOKS TERRIBLE I don't want a future where Felicity is dead

Frank Tremel

I think the new Green Arrow is either future William or Roy who time travels into the past to stop what would be future Star City.

I very much like this theory, and hope it's true!! I dislike the way things have gone in the future..

ChiefChill

I think it will change. Or at the very least it’ll be a good ending for the future

William Tanner

I hope they have some balls and keep it the same and eventually catch up to the flash forwards at the end of the series or something.

Cristian1818

Lol it'll be funny if felicity dies this season cause it seems obvious that she's probably alive.

Anonymous

I think that future william is being led to something that will allow him to time travel. He has come back with a list of names of the people responsible for the rise of the glades

Anonymous

I actually think that the new arrow is a time traveller and that the future generation of heroes all agreed to change the past including Nora and the new arrow

Anonymous

I think the future will change and the new green arrow is William from the future trained by Roy (that's why he's doing those flips), he has a list probably of people that are responsible for glades's rise so he kills them to stop it

Bejo

I think it’ll change because this future doesn’t fit with Nora’s future in Flash or Zari’s future from Legends. Either that or the producers for all 3 shows need to start comparing notes if they want to do time travel stories

Heather McKirdy

We’ve seen the future before and it’s been different, we know how easily it can change from flash. I wonder if we will see any of the legends in the flash forwards

MyDanishThoughts

I think it'll change. After this episode I can see Oliver being brainwash to quit being Green Arrow, and I think the future will remain if he quits. On an unrelated note: do you think Oliver will get out of prison in time for the crossover? Or do you think Stephen Amell will play an Oliver from another earth?

Scott Hadden Jnr

If this were Flash I'd agree but given that Arrow ISN'T a Sci-Fi heavy show. I think the future in the flash forwards is THE future of Star City in this timeline.

Anonymous

I think Barry will change it. I hope they do another version of Flashpoint that actually lasts more than one episode.

Rhianna BRROWN

Where’s doctor who ??????

Kevin Echeverria

I don’t think it will change and also I don’t think felicity is dead because they never showed the body or how she died it seems like a red herring

Anthia Grant

It's hard to say if the future will remain the same or change. Unless they somehow go to the future and know what's going to happen then come back and try to do something different, I don't see how the future will change from what we've already seen without the team being aware of it. Maybe the crossover will give them a clue?

Paul smith

Off topic.why is it on pateron they don't full picture reactions?I know other pateron channels do and it's no issue.so it's definitely legal.they need to look into doing full picture cw reactions

Problem I have right now with the flash forward may seem trivial but it seems like the writers aren't going with what flash has set up like saying "starling" city. So far they seem to still call it Star City even though the 2024 article says otherwise.

Joel

I know this is the arrowverse and the timelines are always changing, but since this is Arrow I feel like this timeline could be self-contained, and the flashforward's could be resolved by the time this show ends.

Anonymous

It will change. The future always ends up changing and who’s knows what will happen. For all we know another Allen could fuck up the timeline again

Dylan Carpenter

I’m on the fence, but leaning towards stay the same. Change would require some form of time travel, which I wouldn’t rule out yet but don’t think is likely. At the same time, we have to wonder why we’re seeing these flash forwards to begin with. I doubt we’re seeing the future just for the sake of seeing the future; there has to be more to it than just a glimpse.

Dylan Carpenter

If you’re talking about full length reactions, you can find them on their website www.blindwavellc.com. If you mean why don’t the full length reactions have the full episode picture-in-picture shown, it’s to play it safe for copyright issues. I know of channels that do that too, but that doesn’t mean that it’s “legal”. If the network decides to go after them one day, they have no way out of that; they are making money while also allowing people to watch the episode outside of official network sources. But blindwave is fully compliant and you still need to have your own copy of the episode in order to actually watch the episode at all, so there’s less chance that they would face any repercussions from the network.
