Glad to see you all go through this journey. This has been my favourite duo so far besides the GoT duo.

The Doctor

I felt this episode was a comedown after the last, but given everything I've read I am confident there will be more Sherlock, the current thinking is it'd be about 2020 at the earliest when it goes into production. I'm hoping they'll give us a bit of a better ending. There's a fair few creative liberties you have to take to accept this episode, that being said Mycroft is golden in this episode. I'm glad you guys have enjoyed the series, it's been fun going through it with you! :D

Yeah, I'm with Rick on this - this just felt too much like a not-very-good supervillian origin story and not enough like a Sherlock Holmes episode - such a shame coming off last weeks story. Some good moment though, Sherlock terrorising Mycroft was great, as was Mycroft trying to get Sherlock to shoot him instead of Watson - but otherwise, an unsatisfying mess to me.

Its sad because there is no possible way BBC puts out a season 5 based off the writing, execution, and reception of this season. At least we have season 1 and 2!

The whole mind control thing was a step too far for me. If they thought of a better way for her to be in control of the prison then this episode would of been great.

For all the episode's flaws, the acting was absolutely superb. Call me a big ol' softy, but I especially liked that scene with Molly. The look of surprise that dawns on Sherlock's face when he says "I love you" for the second time was great. The first time was just to save her life, but then once it's out of his mouth, he almost looks like he was surprised that when he tried to sound like he meant it, he actually did mean it, and so he said it again with more ease. Well done, Benadryl Cummerbund.

This episode was so disappointing, and especially because the Euros reveal was so mind blowing the previous episode. But like most people, the “mind control” thing is where it lost me...which is very early on.

I don't have much to say about the episode but I've really enjoyed re-watching the series with you two. As I said in the beginning, it's great to see Shane in a smaller group actually getting to join in the conversation. It's no one's fault, the dynamics/roles just are different. Hopefully we'll get to see you two reacting together again. Thanks.

One of my favourites if not my favourite episodes. The only flaw being the mind control and given all the better parts of the episode it merely falls under the extended allowance of the Holmes' super intelligence.
