It’s becusee they’re watching from the perspective of reactors and keep waiting for something big to happen. The episodes take their time fleshing everything out. Honestly, the crew should binge ahead a few episodes so they get more into it, even if they still release one a week.

Way too many people get worked up about if they like the show or not. Just watch and enjoy the ride. It is a classic for a reason.

Here we go... here are the siblings that we've seen. First, we have Lelouch vi Britannia and Nunnally vi Britannia. Then we met Clovis la Britannia. Now we have Euphemia li Britannia and Cornelia li Britannia. PLEASE can one of the guys just write that information down! The vi, la, li, mean that they have different mothers. If you insist on calling Lelouch a half brother to Clovis, then Cornelia is also a half sister to Clovis not a direct sister.

They don't read the comments. And I don't think they need to know every relationship. Just that Lulu & Nana are direct siblings while the rest of the royals are half siblings to them.

For anyone having trouble with the website at least on my iPhone it works for me if I log into blindwave's site in another tab, connect patreon, THEN come back here and click the link. But if I try to get to the video directly from the website it logs me out when I try to load it so if that's what's happening to you, give this a try. Another fun reaction, they really love the Nightmares and Cornelia's is badass.

i don't get the people complaining. I've tried on 4 different devices now out of curiosity and it works on each one.

A couple things to explain the school stuff. The school lelouch goes to is a Britanian School, so Suzaku, an 11, wouldn't normally be able to go. And Lloyd (the mad doctor) specifically said that Euphy was a Student till now. She's now got a job as the sub-viceroy in Area-11. Also while it's pronounced C2, her name is spelt C.C, that's why Nunally said she goes by her initials.

Its such a weird episode. Its possibly the most ridiculous and silly episode of R1, but it also has some of the coolest and most memorable dark scenes in all of the first half.

Catching up with these reactions, and I don't understand why everyone is getting up in arms about them "not enjoying the show" - they seem to be enjoying it fine to me! It /is/ confusing to a first time watcher, there is a lot of info to be confused about and discuss, especially when watching in a group - and that's fine. They seem to be having fun with it, which is all I wanted from this show, really. People in the comments occasionally make it out as if they hate it, and I keep getting surprised when I actually watch the reaction because I don't see any of that. Not every show has people super hooked from the start - and not every show needs to be their favourite show. That aside, I'm really enjoying these reactions, for all the ridiculous anime hype. And yes, I /am/ looking forward to the next one. It's gonna be an interesting watch. :D
