Do you think that the Ship seen in this episode is at all related to Thanos or Infinity War?

Comments

Andrew Courtney

It looks just like the one possibly seen by people during Thor: Ragnarok unless my recall of the design is incredibly flawed. Or I’m just hoping for a connection where there is none.

Anonymous

Yes because I want SHIELD in Infinity War. They are just as big a part of it as the Avengers.

Supermonaman

I am only voting yes because I really want it to be the case.

Anonymous

I don't think it is anymore looking at its ships ... it looks more like thors and the asgardians ship

I don't watch the show but have been considering it for months now (it's a pretty long commitment). I'd love it if you guys could make a separate (maybe spoiler free, maybe half spoiler free) review for the entire season after its conclusion. That's when you could read the results of the poll of the last episode too btw. I trust your opinions more than most and think it'd be a great idea for all your shows, especially when transitioning between spring and summer shows...

Billy THE KID Lawrence

While I WANT it to be related to Thanos, I don't think it is.

Tucker Lobner

I feel like it is a good way to tie the show into infinity war, but it could be so many other things with this show

Anthony Wickizer

I think it’s related tangentially. Like maybe the confederacy is coming to destroy Earth to stop Thanos from getting the Infinity Gems. Kind of like the Builders during the incursions... for a comic book reference.

Anonymous

I think its one of the ships filled with the outriders, those four armed things we saw the avengers fight in wakanda in the trailer. Thanos probably send them to scout earth before he comes.

Chris Skalicky

The events in the movies trickle down to the show not the other way around. That ship will have nothing to do with Thanos or Infinity War.

The Air Nation

I just started rewatching shield and the dr who falls into the gravietonian is episode 3. Eric that was impressive that you got that.

The Air Nation

I feel it cant be anything to do with thanos. Although shield tried to connect with the other marvel movies I feel like the show wouldn't be a precursor for the movies. I feel the movies would have an impact on the show.

The Air Nation

But that does bring me to thinking in 3 weeks when infinity war comes out what affect will it have on the show. Like Cap 2 had major consequences on agents of sheild

Jaylee Moore

As much as we'd like it, sadly the TV shows don't have an influence on the movies.

Shane Dunlop

How would it be the show having an influence on the movies though. In the episode before Avengers AoU Raina had a premonitions of Loki’s septor and the world being under attack from metal men. Then it ended with Coulson telling Maria hill that it is time to assemble the avengers and unveiling that he had been secretly working to build the helicarrier. Showing a ship is coming that may be related to Thanos is hardly influencing the movie compared to the above. Infinity war will be far too big of a world event for it not to impact the events of AoS, even if that ship isn’t related. I feel that AoS will be dealing with a related matter that the avengers wouldn’t have time to deal that will keep them occupied during that time.

If it isn't, its stupid. There just happens to be 2 big ships coming to destroy earth? Get outta here.

Ashgar77

Kasius clearly said Shield defeated his father in the past when they tried to invade earth.

Anonymous

I would really like that buuuut i think its the kree-ship from the future.

n p

Yes, fixing the timeline is what triggers Infinity War... looks like it's all leading to them fixing the timeline just in time for the Infinity War release date, and then they can properly adapt to whatever the post-infinity war MCU looks like.

Anonymous

Agreed with the above, they fix things and infinity war happens

Anonymous

I said no. I don't know why you guys are so desperate for the movies and the show to connect. I think it would suck if the main threat on Agents of Shield was just a small part of the threat in Infinity War, rather than being its own thing.

Steve

I voted no. While connections to the movies tend to make for fun easter eggs I don't think it's a good decision story-wise. I honestly think that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. took a massive jump in quality when they STOPPED trying to tie everything back to the movies... I think S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to stick to doing it's own thing if they want this season to be just as good as season 4, which to me was one of the best seasons of television I have ever seen.

Anonymous

I think it is part of Thanos' fleet because if it were any other aliens invading earth won't the avengers have to try and stop them anyway?

Blackest Hippy

I hope it's something to do with Thanos

Herberderber

I say yes because if marvel were smart it would be

Ryan Witalison

They've never used the show to inform the movies like that so I don't see them doing that now

Anonymous

Yeah, TWO unrelated alien invasions over so short a time would be a bit weird. And Infinity War is supposed to be a much bigger event than the average MCU movie, so they have to tie it in somehow.

Doby Greg

I am hoping that the infinity stones(reality or time) plays a role in breaking the loop because that's the only thing I can think that would make sense to change time. That or just switching universe. Also I don't think Jemma thinks she's invincible. She is using Fitz belief so that he can keep hope in their relation even she herself doesn't believe it's unchangeable. She already scold both Fitz(when they saw the gravitonium) and Yoyo on how they cannot know it's unchangeable.

Doby Greg

YOYO SHOULD TELL THEM ALL THE INTEL SHE GOT FROM THE FUTURE

Anonymous

Nope. Epically major things that happen in this show never make it to the movies, so two alien invasions at once seems plausible. Also wasn't that shot of daisy getting on the elevator one of the things we saw in flashback in the future? Seriously guys, there's only a few episodes left, maybe spend some more time finding ways to actually change the timeline SO WE DON'T ALL DIE?

Doby Greg

They are trying but they don't want to commit suicide and Yoyo is whitholding the little knowledge they have. The other agents know nothing aside being alive.

Anonymous

They think they can't change the future, they obviously haven't met Barry Allen

Skeletor

I think they will sweep in after avengers toght thanos when they assume earth has no one watching the shape changers or skulls after the mad titan comes then leaves to get the final 2 stones not on earth

Edwin B

As soon I saw Coulson go for Captain Crunch Berries had feeling Eric may tell his tip about Captain Crunch.

Darth Skhorrn

The show is going to be as self-contained as possible. I think Ike Perlmutter wants to keep it as independent as possible.

Anonymous

Even though they said they are excited about how infinity war will change it up, I feel like if they ment for it to be a connection to thanos, they would've made it more clear.

Anonymous

Well I certainly hope so
