After this episode, which of the teams do you most support?

Comments

Sam K

NTA is completely and utterly in the wrong.

Kay Scruton

One of them was going to testify against Oliver behind his back, one of them deliberately hurt Quentin (which is an instant three strikes in my book), and the other deliberately hurt Diggle by hacking the chip that allows him to use his arm. I think it's also worth mentioning that Quentin could've pulled out his gun and threatened to shoot Dinah, but he didn't. I was kind of iffy before, but now I am 100% on OTA's side.

ItsKikiKeeks

I don't like that I'm disliking NTA so much. The way that they are writing these characters is unfortunate and they crossed so many lines that if they end up getting back together, I don't think I'll be able to accept it

I Am Groot

Curtis had the right to feel betrayed because he didn't do anything wrong at first yet he was spied on...BUT THEN HE HACKED DIG'S ARM. For real what if Dig had been in a fight at the time?

I Am Groot

Oops sorry Eric I meant to say i am groot

Anonymous

Original all the way, hated the fact that Curtis was fine with hacking digs chip and hurting him badly, but he wasn’t ok with Oliver defending himself against Rene who was the using an axe to attack Ollie with and hurting Rene in a fight the newbies started, if Rene had got him with the axe that would have been horribly bad. Then Dinah attacking quentin just hate her now.

Blackest Hippy

All we need is roy and laurel and the team is fine, these fools are unnecessary

Callie Stephen

I am completely over NTA. Where I used to have a bit of understanding where some of them were coming from, I now completely hate them. Even Curtis who I still kinda liked even though he was annoying me. At this point I just want someone to kill them. Good guys, bad guys, I don’t care, just get them off the show. They are hypocritical crybabies, and own none of their mistakes. OTA make mistakes but own up to them, even if they continue on the same path. NTA is too holier than thou. They are close to turning me off the show I love.

Anonymous

I actually have loved NTA so far, but this episode turned me off. I think I could forgive Curtis still, but the other 2 I'm done with

Anonymous

NTA cant blame Oliver for Rene because he was literally swinging an axe at him! Oliver was defending himself and NTA attacked first. The whole thing is stupid but i have to say i love the development for Laurel id rather have her than Dinah to be honest. Dinah is just putting the stupid "trust" argument in the rest of the teams head.

Anonymous

Does anyone know if Roy is coming back? Because he should

Anonymous

I saw the regret that Curtis had for doing that to Dig as he asked him about it before the fight and I could of forgave him but for some reason when Felicity and Dig went to see Rene he was pissed off at them? For what? Protecting themselves? They started the fight i believe and taking about trust Curtis went and disabled Digs arm thats like disabling Felicitys chip, making her disabled again thats A) wrong and B) violating the trust Dig had in Curtis to help him. Also Dig never holded the grudge as he never mentioned it so if ge can forgive someone after that why cant the others do the same? Triggers me!

Anonymous

Dinah was being selfish and stupid. Rene was being a spoilt hardhead. And after what Curtis did to Diggle he crossed a line.

DarkJoker

Wait is this a rhetorical question?

Anonymous

You think they trust each other?

Roberto Cerrillo

This is about trust, because trust is the most important thing. You can't just trust the OTA, trust is too important. At least we have trust in OUR group. Trust-

Kevin Bartelen

When they were fighting each other I kind of wanted Dinah to die so they could just get this over with. As it is she'll have to work hard to earn my respect back just as Oliver had to after all his cold-blooded murder in season 1.

Anonymous

I support The original team over the newbies. At first I understood why they left because they felt like they couldn't trust Oliver and everyone else, But at the same time Dinah was holding information from the team, and Renee was the source the FBI agent talked about. I understand why Renee did it but recently I've started to like the newbies less and less between the lines what they say about OG team arrow is getting annoying to have to deal with. Like a few episodes where Renee said I'm pdst from being here was just stupid and unnecessary. If all three of them died at the end of the season I wouldn't mind Kurtis was less annoying then the others up until this episode he was willing to hurt Diggle. I also don't like how it wasn't mentioned at all Diggle should be angry as hell at Kurtis for what he did, and yet he didn't say anything to Kurtis at the hospital.

Dylan Carpenter

I side with OTA. They had somewhat valid reasons for their actions and didn’t set out to harm NTA. NTA turned the annoyance factor up past 11 in this episode.

Anonymous

Dinah lost her mind and the fact that curtis and dinah were mad about rene getting hurt after he went after olver with a ax....TRIGGERED!!!!!

Fernando

Chose the Newbies, Because I know they won't get much love. Hard to be mad at them after Renee shot felicity, But glad they got there asses kick. They all needed to just fight to start there reabiitation.

tsujoi

SMH @ those that pick the newbies

John Lewis

This is the first time that I have been fed up with Arrow. I have never rolled my eyes so many times or screamed at my tv before out of pure anger haha. I deleted the episode off my tv with 2 minutes left of the episode after Curtis was telling felicity and dig to leave. I was fed up. This is my least favorite story line for the show for me personally. But I enjoyed your reaction anyway!

Anonymous

im really bummed that after such an amazing villain and season , we're now dealing with this storyline. I love arrow but damnnn, this is just stupid and it's crazy how you have one of the smartest characters in dc (curtis/ mr terrific) and can't have him or anyone else use ,umm i don't know, LOGIC (except thea #bringbackspeedy)

Cultured Degenerate

I nearly rolled my eyes through the back of my head when Dinah thanked Curtis for helping her realize that killing Black Siren wouldn't be real justice, as if Oliver hadn't been telling her that since Vince died. Like, are you fkn serious? Also, if Rene is out of commission for a while, what's going to happen to Zoe? I'd feel bad if she was left alone again after JUST getting her dad back.

Anonymous

This season has turned Dinah into the most annoying character in the history of the show

Anonymous

I feels like NTA just likes to play victim all the time. It's as if they've done nothing wrong and they make OTA out to be bullies.

Callie Stephen

I think I saw him in the promotional picture for the next episode but I don’t think it’s a permanent throng. Unfortunately.

Callie Stephen

I am close to leaving too because of this story line. I love the show but every time we have to deal with the whining and trust talk I want to walk out. They need to wrap this up NOW.

Anonymous

The newbies went to far by intentionally hurting John like that so I'm with OTA.

MustacheKash

Yeeaaa baby get to see naked shane before anyone else lol

MustacheKash

oops sorry this is arrow poll thought I was commenting on the Lens post lol

Flashback007

Original Team Arrow, although I am really on no-one's side. Can I be on Thea and Quentin's side?

Red Claw

I hate Renee after this Episode. I hate Dinah after this Episode. But I still like Curtis, although I'm pissed he did that to John. I still like Spartan. The rest I'm sort of mixed about. So I'm technically with the OGs kind of.

Shane Dunlop

I’ve never been remotely on NTA side. While, spying on your friends might be bad, it becomes completely justified if two of the three are keeping huge secrets that effect the team and was going to destroy one of their lives. NTA’s issue has always been about trust, yet they are the ones that couldn’t be trusted given what they had been up to. As far as I’m concerned that gave them zero credibility to start with, yet somehow they’ve found a way for it still to go backwards. OTA’s only real blemish was storming their base in this episode. Really though. The real villains in this story are the writers.

Anonymous

screw the new guys

Anonymous

I was so in love with Dinah’s character at the start of this season. She was a reliable foundation while Diggle was going through his injury. Now they’ve made her the complete opposite. Yes, Ollie spied on them, but for very good reason. I’ve reached the point where I want a clean sweep of the newbies. Get rid of them, except for maybe Curtis. Its becoming a chore to keep hearing “we can’t trust you/this doesn’t change anything/don’t be like Oliver etc”. And it sucks because I really liked the NTA up until this half of the season.

Anonymous

I know Dinah has been acting irrational in terms of the unyielding revenge aspect, but what Diggle said is right. If this wasn't 'Laurel' then they would never consider simply letting a criminal and murderer walk away without any consequences. I really didn't like that Oliver and the other two treat the new team like their children who should automatically submit to the original team's ideals. The arrogance of OTA has really just been putting me off.

Ashgar77

The newbies wouldn't be bad if Rene wasn't with them. He's been the pure cancer out of all of them that has made them go from plucky side kicks you're rooting for to hoping they die and are off this show by end of season.

Lonahora

Neither

Greg Alan

Not hard at all, OTA. Rene started this shit with snitching on Oliver and Dinah wouldn't tell the team that she knew who the Vigilante was. And now, Dinah is just the worst.

Steve

I honestly think both teams are being kinda dickish, but I think OTA is marginally less annoying than NTA (specifically rene)

Kevin Echeverria

Newbies went to far this episode. But Dinah is right protecting black siren a known terrorist is one of the worst things that they have ever done.

Kevin Echeverria

No Ota’s biggest blemish is protecting a terrorist. I do think that Oliver was in the right in the beginning with spying on the new team. I also understand nta wanting to leave. I do think they crossed a line by hacking duffles chip. However, with this episode the only one who is being logical are nta. Plus I pretty much understand Dinah’s pain and what’s she going threw. I do think the writing has been great. Just because it’s a really controversial and both sides have blame doesn’t mean the writing was bad. This was a great episode.

Kevin Echeverria

The other team is just protecting a terrorist who killed hundreds of people by demolishing buildings over them.

Anonymous

Neither. Their both idiots. Why didn't you make neither an option?

Anonymous

I support the original because, yes there are flaws, but they had more experience, and Oliver is all for saving the city. Whereas the new team is acting more like little whiny bitches. They still need to learn to put aside their personal issues.

Anonymous

I like how they're blaming Oliver for Wild Dog's wound reopening during the fight. According to that logic, Wild Dog, the VIGILANTE who FIGHTS CRIME EVERY NIGHT wouldn't ever have gotten into a fight if it wasn't for Oliver.

Shane Dunlop

Another thing from the episode that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere is when someone said that Renee has received his punishment from what he did to Oliver. Yeah. such punishment, being given another chance only to immediately disobey orders and nearly get people killed.

Doby Greg

Considering Laurel was introduced manipulating Oliver and his plan was to let her go free and hope for the best I think the newbies wanting to keep her around and pressure her instead made more sense.

Doby Greg

BTW I am sure Laurel doesn't have the money but pretended she did so they would help her escape.

Darth Skhorrn

Newbies. As much as I don't like what the writers are doing to Dinah, overall, I've been on their side from the start of the rift. But having said that, I've always felt like the rift was manufactured to begin with. Nothing about anyone's behavior has rang true for me, especially in this episode. I really hope we can put this behind us soon and not have to wait until next season like the Olicity situation.

Anonymous

I think there is only one good answer here and it would be OTA...yes everyone is at fault to a degree but I think the total disregard of Dinah Drake's character by the writers lately just makes me not want to side with the new team.....ever

Tucker Lobner

Even though I disagree with so much of what OTA has done since the split, I just can't get behind any part of the new team. Their reasoning is illogical and they are doing the exact same things they got mad at OTA for.

Anonymous

The newbies have been so way over their heads ever since leaving Team Arrow. Every situation they have come across, they create so much spite for Oliver more so than focusing on the protection of the city. "The city is going to blow!" "The city is going to go bankrupt!" and they are again and again stuck up on their feelings and continuously have gotten in the way of all intentions of being a hero. My favourite era of team arrow was Season 4, just pure comic book dynamic.

Anonymous

Just so you know this poll doesn't change anything HOSS.

Ryan Witalison

OTA has issues, but hell they always have some issue that puts a strain on the team, It was those issues that caused problems for Curtis and Rene last season. But the New Team are just ignoring what's right just to spite Oliver.

Anonymous

team arrow for sure the newbie are being stupid and making me not really enjoying this great show

Anonymous

I can't support Dinah when she is acting stupid. I don't like being able to see the writing.

Anonymous

Original team arrow up till last episode I was ok with renee and curtis but now their needs to be some series steps made for me to like those characters again especially dinah

Anonymous

Original team arrow. Pretty much any time Team Newbies said anything I had to audibly say, "Fuck you guys!" i hope this gets resolved sooner rather than later.

Anonymous

Original team Arrow, almost everything the newbies do or say makes me cringe and this episode made me want Black Canary dead or beaten or become a villain so Laurel could come back as the good Canary and beat new Canary again

Jon Dub

Original Team Arrow all the way. Its getting ridiculous, they are pissed at Team Arrow because Renee got injured, the same Renee who ratted out Oliver to the Feds, shot Oliver's wife in the arm and shot AT Oliver's sister and then swung an axe at Oliver's head, but all that's justified because "You spied on us, Hoss!"....I think Oliver was justified in kicking Renee's ass. Also they lost any moral highground after what they did to Diggle in this episode

SpeedyCat19

One thing that the New Team's stupidiness is doing for the show is making me really like Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity again. It feels like the early seasons in that regard

Anonymous

The newbies DELIBERATELY hurt Diggle, Rene used a an AXE against Oliver, shot Felicity, Dinah hurts Quentin until he’s knocked out, but the Original Team aren’t allowed to check in or be concerned? Because it’s “their fault”? Some serious next level bullsh*t. The problem of this whole thing for me was Dinah and her “I have to kill Laurel” thing in the first place.

Anonymous

I super sad about this because the newbies were so cool and well constructed, and now the writers DESTROYED them. If they want to write them off the show, there are better ways to do that, not make your characters so...well, out of character.

M. Casarico

I agree that they shouldn't have "spied" on the newbies a while back, but I just believe the Dina is not thinking straight and that Rene is a dick.

Anonymous

Fuck this plotline. Short and sweet.

Anonymous

Dina needs to chill the fuck out, wild dog is just hot headed and will always go against Oliver and Curtis is just there because they were spied on. They shouldn’t have spied on them but I hoped they would move on by now. After every fight where both teams work together, fucking wilddog is always like ‘this changes nothing’ 🙄

Eric Solo

always ota because the reasons for the split were poorly done and did not build the sympathy needed in my opinion
