I was waiting all morning for this and you put it up right when I had to go to class!

I can't wait for the finale when all the over arching storylines come together. I always thought this episode had the foundations for the characters stories and sets the beginning for the series finale.

Love the sound the spirit vines make as they're shooting out the laser beams. Exactly the same as Vaatu.

I think Bataar Jr is just trying to get out of his father's shadow. All his life he's been the most "like his father", with the architecture and the science, and I think he just really wants a chance to get out and be something other than just his father's second. And kuvira has given him this chance.

I can’t watch this video on my mobile device, I keep getting errored and I used both data and WiFi to try to watch it. I can watch any other video on here and the blind wave new website responds the same way.

I thought you guys already knew it was Zelda Williams. She has a great voice. It definitely adds weight to Kuviras personality. And yes Varrick is a fan favourite. DO THE THING!!

“Are they running out of things to do with Asami?” Lol!

Jose

yeah, i really like that too. It kinda gives a summary of the entire series

Jose

well if you think about it. Vaatu is a spirit which uses all spiritual energy in order to produce that purple laser beam which the vines as well have this type of energy

Rebel Pilot

hehehehehe. really looking forward to their reaction of the reunion and the finale

I took it as Korra having doubts in herself, being afraid to mess up, and remembered what Toph told her about her enemies having good intentions or beliefs but went about it the wrong way. Korra thinking fighting or going in there and pushing her weight wasn’t the right idea, so she tried to resolve things peacefully, but didn’t realize how much Kuvira had changed from the person who saved her dad 3 years ago. Even though it failed and Korra got manipulated by Kuvira I really did like her trying to be diplomatic. It shows a willingness to change and realize there is more to the Avatar than just fighting. This wrong time to try it perhaps, but really enjoyed seeing her trying to understand her enemy better this time around and see if they come to terms.

Well now we know why Kuvira's soldiers have metal on their uniforms, don't we? Of course everyone in the army's too dumb to realize it.

I took Korra's inaction as her attempting to avoid a fight if it were possible and resolve the conflict peacefully first. As Toph put it when discussing Korra's previous enemies, 'ever might think that you might learn something from them' and got her to consider their perspective. I think Korra had this approach in mind when she went to speak with Kuvira. Also remember Kurvira saved her father's life and also attempted to protect her and her group of friends against Zaheer and his party when they broke into the compound therefore Korra owes Kuvira a debt. Korra also recogises the weight of the responsibilities she has on her own shoulders, and therefore see's parts of the old quick to action and anger Korra, in Kuvira and her actions now. As well as recognising too that Kuvira had a valid point about not having the Avatar to help reassemble the Earth kingdom for the past three years, and in her eyes Sue when it came down to it wouldn't raise a finger to help protect or stablize the earth kingdom, therefore Kurvira took it upon herself to do so instead, but like every other villain in this show she justfelt so strongly about the earth kingdom and took it way too far. This is why Korra tries to reason with and talk Kuvira around, also they are the ones breaking the agreement and they are also the ones telling Korra to forget reason and go straight into Avatar mode and destroy her.
