This episode has one of the most beautiful tracks of the whole show IMHO, "To Heal", when Korra finally gets the mercury out. Kudos to Jeremy Zuckerman.

Kind of surprised they didn’t mention how similar Ikki was to her Grandpa Aang in this episode. Befriending her captors when she could have easily gotten out and leaving them with fruit to eat were such Aang moves lol. It made me smile they gave Ikki some similarities to Aang here.

The Toph connection is strong in this episode in mixing old ATLA with LOK...friendships do last lifetimes and Aang first visions of Toph was in the Swamp...that part boggles my mind in thinking that episode in ATLA was predicting more about where Toph is now in her life way back then. Cool concept?!?

Y'all talked a lot about villains this time and my personal favorite villain is everyone else's least favorite, Unalaq. The villains that see Balance as equal light and dark and seek to balance the scale by adding more dark are always villains I love to watch.
