Yaay! This was a pretty good finale for the season.

Anonymous

Now to wait for that sweet sweet full length

Anonymous

Thank you!!!

Harry Utton

Do you know how long it will be till the full length is available?

Anonymous

Looking forward to the reaction on this one. Korra has a lot of story develops going forward that are... interesting. Whether the crew feel positive or critical towards it, it allows me to relive and strengthen my passion for Avatar. Particularly through Eric's enthusiasm. This is what YouTube reactions are all about.

hays collins

I never stopped smiling that entire time. I was just so excited to see your guys reaction. I woke up a few hours before the episode came out and I literally sat here refreshing every other second. Thank you guys for making fridays so much more fun

Gezno

Those two are dead. Like deader than dead. Just dead, Dead

Anonymous

Wow! Shane went full savage on Eric..."I don't know how you could've been more wrong." lol

Anonymous

Im a two week type of person. I wish we can have 2 episode but im satified once again by your reaction

Anonymous

The world opens up very soon! Happy you guys enjoyed the finale! Stick with the beginning of this next season, it will be worth it!

Anonymous

And hah! Calvin said did the thing! Verrick jokes incoming

Cody Enos

I'm excited for S2, unlike everyone else I liked it more than S1. Actually, If I were to rank the seasons S1 would be last.

Matthew Rudolph

I love all these questions they're asking, specifically what the hell is spirit energy! <3

Anonymous

Think of blood bending as physical force breaking the circuits and energy bending from the avatar state is more like welding the circuits back together

Anonymous

one notable moment that wasn't covered in this episode but I think is integral to Korra's story and character development for future episodes is her "lowest point", where she was standing over the ledge at the end. Some Korra watchers have questioned that perhaps she was contemplating jumping off and committing suicide because she had lost her bending and felt that being in a hopeless situation, it may have been a better option to restart the Avatar cycle than for her to live as the "current" Avatar.

Anonymous

I'd always assumed Anng dying (brief ly) in the Avatar state is what caused Korra's airbending to be turned off. Then Amon flipped Korra's on/off switch - fire/earth/water off, air on.

Anonymous

Amon severed the flow of blood going through the chakra points.

Anonymous

(Only seen first season)Personally I don't like the Korra/Mako relationship at all. Feels way to expected. Just makes you feel bad for Asami. Love everything else though.

Can Arabacıoğlu

That Korra figure, so funny in a good way :P

Anonymous

Honestly this finale is so good and I always seem to forget abt the murder suicide that happens in this ep. Can't wait to see ur reactions to book 2! There's a couple of eps right in the middle I'm super looking forward too

Anonymous

Book's 3 and 4 are more of a packaged deal in the way that it was ordered so there more continunity it terms of more naturally flowing direct consequenses. I love book 2 I can't wait for ittttt.

Gringo

Yaay! that was nice... NOW I WANT MORE!!!!!

Juniper

I'm glad you guys liked the finale

Anonymous

I didn't enjoy Korra Season 2 in the slightest. The ending really pissed me off and I kinda stopped watching after that when I realized it was a permanent plot. Honestly if Season 2 didn't exist the triple season Triad would be pretty damn good

GarikLoran

Eric talking about Iron Man was perfect. When the episode first aired, everyone was calling him Iroh Man.

Anonymous

Finally, LOK appreciation! This show was so good, but received so much hate.

Jen A. Blue

I've been waiting all season to post this: somebody on YouTube remixed the Avatar Theme from this episode and the one from "Sozin's Comet." It is EPIC AF. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkqqZ8U9H7s" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkqqZ8U9H7s</a>

Ugh... it ticks me off when people describe this or the AtLA finale as deus ex machina. Just because you didn't see a twist coming doesn't mean it's a deus ex machina, a deus ex machina is when there was no foreshadowing or indication that something is possible AT ALL. If you can go back and find clues in hindsight--which you can for both the reveal of energybending in AtLA and Aang showing up here--then it's not a deus ex machina, it's just a twist. (Also why do people say "ghost in the machine"? Not picking on Eric, it's really common, but "deus" means "god," not "ghost.") (Also, this episode of Blind Wave totally foreshadowed that Eric is going to turn out to be the Ultimate Evil.)

Jasmine King

I'm looking forward to seeing reactions to season 2. Of the 4 seasons it is my least favorite, however I think there are some awesome characters introduced and one you guys may really like. There's also some story development for two characters that I think is pretty great. There's even more of a departure from ATLA in season 2, and I suspect you'll wonder about the familiar relations of the moon.

Koala Banana

Yes Eric, all of a sudden being able to control the Avatar State would be weird, wouldn't it? Chakras are pretty important wouldn't you agree

Rebel Pilot

So they thought Mako was a dick this episode. Good observation and intersting to see what they will think once the show progresses. *Grabs popcorn*

KayySensei

Amon is also my favorite villain! So happy you guys gave this show a chance it only gets better!

Erich Bomke

While season 2 is the weakest it also has "The Beginnings"!

Anonymous

I really wish that they can do 2 episodes a week, because in all honesty to me, season 2 was a wreck with its story, and especially it's characters (double that for bitchy korra) It's gonna be awhile. Gotta wait 14 weeks for season 3.

Anonymous

Hey, why do you type spoilers? And I disagree, I think it's much better for them to do this once a week so that we can enjoy their Korra reactions over longer time. Just think about it: You have almost one whole year with new Korra reactions coming up every week. If they did it twice a week, it would be over in only six months or so.

Jemima Savage

She was blocked from all her other bending but she (all the avatars supported her in her recovery) and recovering everyone else...

Anonymous

Audio was fine for me

Anonymous

yeah most of us just let it go it is very 1d at times

Anonymous

they are going to hate book 2 so much - especially Eric thank god for Books 3 and 4 which are mindblowing

Anonymous

I think both this ATLA and this show make it apparent that the divide between what is spiritual and what is physical isn't so clear cut, and that the lines between them are very much blurred and intertwined. The connection to spirit energy and chakras in the body is an obvious thing, but also remember that Aang was able to have a chakra unlocked which allowed him to enter the avatar state in the season 3 finale, just by having a sharp rock jabbed into the lightning scar on his back. The connection between the physical and the spiritual is reinforced even more here with blood bending, and book 2 of Korra goes even further to blur the line between the physical world and the spirit world.

Anonymous

and why would they hate it? lol it is the weakest but beginnings is awesome and theres varrick as well as all the callbacks to ATLA, tbh if they liked season 1 a lot i doubt they will hate anything in this series

Anonymous

really for me its 1 i don't get the reasons why people don't like this season - i tthink is is mostlikly mako

Jjop017

Are Aang and Korra going into the Avatar State to energy bend? I remember the Lion Turtle glowed to when he energy bent? I thought glowing was just energy bending.

JojoInSpace

I really love the scene of the bloodbending brothers on the boat as well. It's so incredibly tragic... but fitting all the same. They got to end their own story. I always saw Noatak's tear as a sign that he was sad about everything that went wrong, and he probably felt partially guilty for turning his little brother into this man. I think they both knew it needed to end, but Tarrlok was the one acting on it. My face when that happened was definitely Calvin's face here. Damn. Now I'm sad all over again. I think it's implied that Korra has an easier time accessing the Avatar state this early because of her mastery of the elements and her spiritual journey coming to her at such a low point where she was very open to it. Don't think that means she's mastered it, but you know. You can open a lot of Chakra's without showing it as a fancy animation, I guess. :P I mean, I think the point this show is trying to make is that the spiritual and the physical are not two separated things. Yes, Amon did bloodbending, probably 'physical', but that still affects the spiritual. As you said, Aang unlocked a chakra by getting hit in a pressure point. I'm so glad that you guys were so hyped about this finale. It can be seen as a bit rushed, due to them having to wrap it up in one go, but I think it really works even so. Glad you guys seemed to have a blast with it. And I'm so happy we don't have to wait long but can just go straight into book 2 after this. Hype.

Rich Cassou

Great reaction to a wonderful finale. Can't wait to see you guys in book 2. It is the weakest overall book of the series but there's still plenty of new characters and stories to like in it.

Anonymous

We made it guys. That was fun! Can we do it again?

Ever Beltran

I prefer watching the full length reaction first, even if I have to wait longer, I don't know, I feel like it's more rewarding if you watch the full reaction without knowing what they are going to say in some scenes, I watch the edited version when I want to rewatch their best reactions. :D

Agni Kai

We just have to make it thru book 2 and then we get one of the greatest seasons ever, I'm glad book 2 has some great moments in it tho, can't wait to see their reactions to them

Anonymous

I've been waiting to see your reaction to that murder-suicide for months.

Anonymous

Curious to see what they think about Wan and the retconning the do there.

PinoyAkoPH

"I'm so glad somebody saw that" 😭😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️

Anonymous

Same here, as soon as I saw they were starting to react to LoK my first thought was "the Tarrlok boat scene"

Favian Pena

if you want an in-depth explanation to how Amon can take away bending, you should watch this video ( <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR17bKDi_nc" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR17bKDi_nc</a> ) Warning, minor spoilers

Anonymous

Man, seeing these while waiting for the full react version is infuriating, haha.

zell

This had spoilers for the other seasons as well don't think they want to see that

Meganclare7

I always thought Korra was thinking about jumping off that cliff at the end.

Anonymous

I get the thing about Aang and Roku, where Roku was a big influence in Aang but what you have to understand is that Aang had almost no help, he did not know anyone except Katara and Sokka, and he was trained in a spiritual manner so he was more inclined to connect to Roku and seek for his help. One of his first mission was to go to the air temple to seek help and he found Roku (well his statue, so thats all he was clinging on to). In Korra's cases she had pretty much all the help, she's a prodigy in terms of bending, and there was almost no reason for her to connect to the past Avatars as the world was in no danger. However when she hit the lowest point in her life, and when no one could help her, she finally opened up and managed to connect to Aang. Thats the way i see it.

Nick R

There is a very well thought out theory about how Korra opened all of her chakras throughout the events of the first season. There are varying ways to perceive this theory but all of them are generally the same. <a href="https://forums.avatarspirit.net/index.php?topic=21903.0" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://forums.avatarspirit.net/index.php?topic=21903.0</a>

BOOK 2 HYPE!!!!!! Enjoyed the reaction! Most people complain about the ending, but I'm glad to see you were all able to point out the positives and enjoyed it.

Anonymous

About your villains discussion, my favorite villain is season 3 big bad for Korra, but I think season 4 big bad u guys will like the most! Great job on your reactions and must see for me on Fridays!

William Campbell

My wife bought this soundtrack and it is really good.

Anonymous

Alright, guys. S1 done! I must say, however, S2 is my least favorite, but it's still awesome and badass nonetheless. Keep up the great work and can't wait till the S2 premiere reaction

Dale Cooper

Season 2 was a schlock, but it does lead to the best season of the series.

Matthew Rudolph

"Sokka was probably bumi's favorite uncle" ... It was his only uncle!

Jackie

It has some really good episodes, but I feel that the script was weak overall.

Matis

omg i totally hadn't noticed we reached the end and i sudenly see Finale at the title ...*mindblownsuperhappy*

Anonymous

How long until the full length reaction is out?

Anonymous

It will be in the new tier, you will need your own copy of the episode and start it when they do so you can watch their reaction to the full thing.

Anonymous

Now on to Season 2, the point where Nickelodeon started screwing over the show.

Andrew Garcia

The middle parts and ending of S2 had plenty of great moments. I just prefer the villains S3 ideology and Korra's arc over the S2 villain

Anonymous

It's sad because everyone in ATLA was so happy about Book 2 and everything "after Toph" but in Korra everyone's like "Ok guys Season 2 is coming... brace yourselves."

Anonymous

Is there a problem with the full length reaction? It's been stuck in processing for 2 days.

Anonymous

Yeah, where's the full length? :O

Anonymous

Do you have any plans for releasing a video on the Avatar live action movie? Also, I was re-watching your fan Q&amp;A and ya'll discussed reviewing the comics. I'll take any and all avatar content I can get if you know what I mean. I do think your reaction to the movie would be hilarious.

Anonymous

a point tho in the avatar state you gain knowledge and experience of past avatars so she would be able to return bending as Aang learnt it

Andrew Garcia

I miss when Legend of Korra reactions were at 7am PST instead of 8:30am or later. Whoa I got spoiled with waking up to early notifications lol Keep up the great work Blind Wave
