I would imagine they don't read the comments to wisely avoid spoilers but I'm not sure this is one anyway. The bomb Jack stops has painted on the side "Schlechter Wolf" German for Bad Wolf

To clarify a bit in regards to 'Doctor Constantine', it isn't the character but rather the actor who played him, Richard Wilson that's important. He's known here in the UK for starring in a BBC sitcom called 'One Foot in The Grave' about an ill-tempered retiree named 'Victor Meldrew' which occasionally featured dark story elements which sometimes led to controversy.

There was a Bad Wolf reference in this episode, Eric. When Jack was riding on top of the bomb, the German words for bad and wolf was on the bomb.

The first time the Sonic Screwdriver appeared was in the second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) story Fury from the Deep in 1968. So its 50th anniversary will be next year!

The Sonic Screwdriver also has a psychic interface. The Doctor has some low-level psychic powers, he can read minds, and a lot of his equipment is controlled psychically. Despite the thousands of settings on the screwdriver, there is only one button.

I absolutely love this two parter. Even now, it's still in my top five all time, and it's what really makes me wish that Eccleston stuck around longer than he did.

Well, I liked that & was it not Susan Foreman who in the sensorites, could psychicly contact other minds? But they never went anywhere with that. Cool reaction though. Susan foreman by the way, was the Doctors grandchild.
