Savitar has two things that need to happen to insure his creation. Kill Iris, and something he is keeping to himself. Is the second thing knowable to the audience with information we already have, or not knowable? Put your theories in the comments below

It's not knowable but I am going to take a guess that he's going to kill killer frost if he doesn't succeed with killing Iris

I'm not sure if anything is revealed yet but i have a quick theory it may have something to do with his suit and how he relies upon it to contain his energy.

I think it's something we already know: stealing Wally's speed and breaking his spine. Think about it: how did Savitar get to be THAT much faster than present Flash? How come Wally couldn't just heal from having his spine broken, Barry's healed from ridiculous injuries before thanks to his speedster powers? Answer to both: Savitar stole Wally's speed.

Based on what we know, I believe the second thing is to either make Barry create time remanants or make everyone hate/neglect Barry. He said he had plans for Jesse quick aswell so who knows. I'm so confused with everything.

Its probably Dominator tech to build Savitar's suit.

I'm sure Reverse Flash had something to do with creating the Savitar loop. He said he had left a surprise for Barry and soon after we start seeing Savitar and Alchemy. Just whatever Reverse Flash did no longer needs him to be a catalyst. I haven't yet put it all together but I'm betting all the information we need is in there if we consider Reverse Flash.

I think It's something to do with finding the means to become a "God". Or maybe building the suit.

Well guy's you're right about the reverse flash, however I think it was revaled in legends of tomorrow - doom world you did see flash's cawl setting amoung the mask's, right? At the alter ?

The whole exempt speech was a lie so that Barry wouldn't kill him self. We know this because Savitar has said he needs Barry to remain alive multiple times. It's also why he told Caitlin that she couldn't kill Barry because Savitar still needs him. This explanation of Savitar's backstory actually does have a few plot holes. For example like Aaron said if Barry doesn't create any time remnants then Savitar can't be created. Also if Barry kills himself then he isn't around to create Savitar and they both die. Also Bootstrap paradoxes only apply to objects and information, what Savitar has created is a causality paradox.

It could be just a lie because it is evil Barry. But Also you just never know what it could be. The Safe bet would be someone else defeats Savitar. Im pretty certain that Iris was always meant to be Stabbed but do we know she dies. Since Barry went too the future twice there is a chance events change. Like does Iris die or does someone save her. For we know in comics people survive things that should kill normal people.

I get the feeling Eobard was responsible for creating the first Savitar, who then has constantly created himself. I mean, he was responsible for all of the smaller changes that they dealed with already.

I think the second thing is the speed force bazooka. Barry knows Tracy is working on it now and close to completing it, so Savitar should know as well, but Savitar is making no attempts to halt the trap's completion. I think he initially sends Killer Frost after Tracy as a ploy to make Barry think that Savitar doesn't want the bazooka created because if he really wanted Tracy dead, he could have killed her before Barry got to her since he knew when and where she would be. Once the trap is complete, Savitar will probably try to steal it and then modify it with Killer Frost's help to enhance his powers even further.

I think it's knowable, I think he might have to take out wally since he could be fast enough to stop Savitar and when barry went to the future it wasn't said when wally was injured and kinda strange wally's back didn't heal like barrys did

Is it as simple as making sure Barry traps him in the speed force, so everything can come to pass as we have now seen it?

I don't know what it is, but after the whole "I am the future flash" thing, I am sure the seeds have been sown.

The only reason Savitar exists is because everybody was an ass to the time remnant. If Joe and the Rest didn´t shun him he wouldn´t have gone back in time to become a villian. His greatest weakness? Human decency.

It's going to be the thing in the finale that threatens the city/world/multi-verse that Barry has to stop, because it can't ever just be between two people. It has to escalate to top what they did in previous finales.

Right now all we have received is the fact that he needs to kill iris so Barry is driven so far in the dark evil Barry will be born. i dont really see anything else he needs so he got me there. he's the fastest speedster hands down, nothing and no one to tie him down. so maybe he wants his life back?????

Seemed like Savitar Barry wasn't as fast as todays Barry. Barry got a good shot on him while he was out of the Savitar suit. (It is super confusing explaining this to someone who doesn't watch the show)

I honestly don't think it's something we know about. But reading the other comments I think it's possible that it's something we can know with information we already have.

Eric! Read! The whole "the more you do it, the less the rules apply to you" about time travel does come from the comics. In the comics, Thawne had time traveled so many times that he was no longer apart of any timeline.

My vote was information we already know because I feel like it's something so obvious but we (the audience) haven't put it together yet. Also, I think the other option is killing present Barry because of what he said about how time travel doesn't matter to them anymore and you can break the rules. Sounds kinda dumb but with these writers you never know lol

That's not it, at all. Savitar wants to kill Iris so he can be born. As in, the REAL Barry becomes savitar, not him, who is a time remnant.

It would a good story if Iris really did die cause if Barry time travels again everything is going to hell lol, but I wouldn't be surprised if HR switched places with Iris but when did he do it? Savitar took Iris to begin with so, idk ??
