Hey All!

Y'all ready for another Twitch Movie Marathon on Friday June 10th? Well get ready for the theme of CHAOS REIGNS!!! Which are really just movies that I think display some kind of chaotic energy. I'm so excited. I love these movies and these streams have become one of my favorite things. I genuinely can't wait to watch them all with ya.

As always, we'll be at https://www.twitch.tv/filmcrithulk and starting at 1230pm Pacific time.

TO THE LINEUP! (as always things can shift around or change, but I'll update)

1230pm - Preroll, baby!

1245pm - Arsenic and Old Lace (1943) - Cary Grant gets to have all the fun in the world in this perfect stage adaptation of a show with just a TASTEFUL amount of murder.

245 pm - Withnail and I  - Let's watch two legendary British character actors try to get high as hell for an hour and half.  You WILL feel the delirium.

435pm - Beetlejuice - Awww heck ya, it's Tim Burton classic about Weaponized Ghost Chaos. This is a FOUNDATIONAL text.

610pm - Con Air - Perhaps no other film captures the insane nonsensicality of 90's action tropes and tonal mish-mashing better than this one. It's been yeeeeears since I've seen it so... here we go!

810 pm - They Live - It's funny when this Carpenter classic can be considered the LEAST chaotic movie in your line-up, but I'm so damn ready to OBEY and watch this film.

950 pm - Game Night - I'm also highly determined to turn this modestly successful 2018 studio offering into something that's seen as having cult classic status. It rules. Also, it's a reminder comedies should use visual language, dammit.

1130 pm - Secret Screening #1 - It's gonna get weird.

125 am - Secret Screening #2 - And weirder.

3 am - Secret Screening #3 - And weirdest. Be warned!

I agree with your take on Game Night - it absolutely should be a cult classic!

Oh SHIT yeah I am DOWN for Arsenic and Old Lace. I saw it on stage once and it was a riot. (Also #problematic re: institutionalization, but them's the breaks.) With candle-lighting getting later, I might even have time for Withnail. I probably won't have much time for Beetlejuice, if any, and certainly nothing after. Pity -- Con Air would be an interesting experience, given that everything I know about it I learned from the jokes in Homestuck. (You would not believe me if I told you what that bunny prop got up to...) And I've only heard good things about They Live, though all I've seen of it myself is the fistfight.
