I cannot thank you all enough for all your help last week in recommending movies for the stream. There were so many amazing suggestions that I wanted to put on here, but I also had to find a good mix of films / consider the way they would fit together! Also, I wanted to save some of the great anime suggestions for the column series so I can take notes / write about them (which is hard to do with these streams!). But I've narrowed down the list and put together a lineup of my dreams.

The stream will start THIS Friday, just before noon pacific time and will be at our usual spot of: https://www.twitch.tv/filmcrithulk

Without any further ado, the lineup!

Twitch Stream

1145am - Pre-Roll!

Noon - Murders in the Zoo (1933) - I've never seen this film, which is regarded to be pre-code masterpiece and one of the more grisly and weird efforts of era! Let's start things off gnarly!

110pm - A Town Called Panic - I know this delightful stop-animation movie film had a nice little debut  in 2009, but I missed it! Now it's time to rectify!

330pm - Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit - I had so many theater friends who were OBSESSED with this movie in high school and I somehow missed it. But apparently, what should be a throw-away cash-in sequel to the surprise hit, instead goes for something deeper when  Whoopi takes an interest in developing young talent like Lauryn Hill and Jennifer Love Hewitt! AND it's directed by the great Bill Duke!

520pm - To Catch A Thief  - The one Hitch I've never seen! Cary Grant! Grace Kelly! What's not to look forward to! Exclimations!

705pm - Friday Foster - Wait so you're telling me there's a Pam Grier / Yaphet Kotto blaxploitation movie that I've never seen?!?!??!?!?! Time to rectify that! As the poster tag line says: WHAM! BAM! HERE COMES PAM!

840pm - The Color of Money - I feel like people don't talk enough about the fact Martin Scorsese made a 25-years-later sequel to Paul Newman's The Hustler, this time with a young Tom Cruise in tow to round things out. But it remains the only Scorsese film I've never technically seen (I saw some bits on tv when I was a kid). But one of the reasons I never did is because this film somehow had this reputation of "eh, it's all flash, don't bother!" And I have no idea why that became the consensus? Apparently, it's great!

1040pm - One Cut of the Dead - This was the single most suggested film by everyone! That means ya gotta do it :)

1220am - Secret Screening #1 - I can't give a hint because I have no idea what it is! It's secret even from me! Dun dun dunnnnn!

2ish am - Secret Screening #2 - Same! No idea!

Yay! Happy watching time!

Great lineup! Is it true you can’t join Twitch Watch Parties if you don’t have Amazon Prime, though?

I know it's waay too late for this stream, but save it for the next: "9 to 5" from 1980.
