Friday Patreon Holiday Movie Marathon (Patreon)

Hey all,

So I've been meaning to do this for a while, but this Friday, December 18th, at 330pm PST, we're gonna do a big holiday movie marathon on twitch! Landon and I are putting together a bunch of fun movies and other treats and I'm genuinely excited (this will also hopefully be the first of many other screenings).

Right now, the plan is to screen it at https://www.twitch.tv/filmcrithulk and it's okay to invite whoever, but keep in mind this is one of those "under the table" kind of things because we don't have the rights to any of these movies. So I'm gonna be careful and keep it smaller and not gonna be putting it out to the greater internet or anything and would appreciate the same. I just thought it would be fun treat for the Patreon gang.

And to get serious about that for a moment. You have no idea how much your support has meant. In a year as down and horrible and crazy as this, this community has been an emotional, financial, and stabilizing support rock that gave me a genuine sense of purpose, especially as so many other things fell apart. I honestly don't know where I'd be without you. For that, I am so eternally thankful. 

So! let's do the thing I miss about movie-going community the most and watch some fun movies. Speaking of which, onto the programming! I ended up just choosing some of my favorite Christmas classics that fit like an old warm sweater.

Pre-show!!! - 330pm PST (all times Pacific)

Gremlins - 4pm PST

The Long Kiss Goodnight - 6pm PST (excited for those who've never seen it)

Batman Returns - 815pm PST

Secret Feature - 1030pm PST

I'll let you know if anything changes, but right now this is the plan!
