PLEASE READ: Cryptid-tier pledge increase (Patreon)

Hello patrons! I've got an update for you concerning the Cryptid-tier request rewards.

As of now, Cryptid-tier is $20 a month and limited to 8 slots, but I plan on raising it to $30 and adding one more slot, and doing 3 requests per stream, 3 times a month. This change is starting March 1st, that way there is a good window of time for any current Cryptids to edit to their pledge to what is most comfortable for them. In April I will raise it again to $35.

The reason I am making this change is because I have been feeling the strain of my work-to-income ratio lately. Right now a chibi or a detailed bust is only $20 for patrons, which is quite under priced considering my commission rates and just generally how I value my art. I tend to fall into a mindset with Patreon that makes me feel like I am being donated to-and I feel obligated to give a lot more of my time and resources to thank you all for the donation.

The thing is, I AM grateful for your support, truly!! But if I am providing content, a service, then it isn't a donation. You guys are here because you enjoy what I make enough to support me every month, and you get perks for that! That's a service.
I still believe it should be cheaper than non-patron options, because it is monthly, but not so much so that I feel burnt out so quickly when I take on so much.

If I offered chibis to non-patrons I would value them at $40+ with the amount of detail I tend to put into them. So I think $35 flat ultimately is fairer. It's a flat-rate for patrons no matter what, but with my commissions the price can fluctuate based on the complexity of the design.

Anyway, that's what's going on! Ultimately Patreon is my job and I need to take a hold of the reins a bit here and give myself a bit more credit. This should also lead to me having more time for personal art and projects! And that means more art for you all to see.
