Heraldic pin set (Patreon)

Hey! so ive been itching to make physical merch for a while now, and now that I've sort of accumulated a few pieces that can be made into prints, im looking into hard enamel pins!!

I started collecting pins recently and its been super fun, and its a market i wanna dip my toes into.

the idea behind these designs is emblematic/heraldic beasts. the kinds of animal illustrations you see decorating a family crest or a royal flag. I was debating the # of pins to do, considering making a lion, gryphon, an elk, a dragon...and while that sounds fun i think im gonna stick to just 2 designs for now, since its my first venture into pin making. i think the wolf and unicorn are a good start!
the two are linked design-wise because it looks like theyve recently battled, the unicorn having a red bloody horn, while the wolf has puncture wounds. the wolfs claws being blue with unicorn blood, while the unicorn has blue claw marks. i wanted the two to share a palette as well, except for their main colors, which i wanted to contrast with each other.
i have an idea about the card backing being a royal crest-like design!

the 2nd image shows a pin set design i toyed around with that would be more detail oriented and focus on the faces of the designs. i still really like these! but i might make them stickers instead.
