the ref for this guy had a totally grey color beak, with no color at all, and thats fine, but i added a bit of a brown tinge to it to help mix with the warmth of the feathers a bit. i think the contrast of bright, sunny orange+yellow really jives with the cool seafoam and teal. my fav sketch is the top one.
