A Star is Born (Patreon)

It's always fascinating to me how close or far apart the end results comes to the initial story idea. This one started as the story began, with a conversation trying to convince someone to act in explicit videos. Whenever I'm running through these imaginary conversations in my head I often get to forks in the conversation that I'm unable to bring together in the story, so a lot ends up on the cutting room floor. 

Then having the one doing the transformation as the POV came naturally as we explore things happening that aren't always apparent to the guy being transformed. The language also shifts a bit between generic descriptions, as if this is a process that he has done many times, and specifics for this guy. There is also the increase in displayed power the further along we get in the story, where at first the guy is essentially just doing something unexpected and feeling different. Later he is getting physically transformed, the narrator knows what the guy is doing well enough to time his phone calls, and finally we get to see him explicitly perform a physical on the guy when he makes him oily.

I knew from the start that the first "scene" would by just some acting alone on the "boy room" set and that the second one would be in the gym, for the physical transformation. I wasn't sure what the next one would be though, thinking first that it would be a wrestling scene to introduce the guy to physical contact that maybe ended with him getting a blow job. Then that would progress into a fourth shoot at the end, but I wasn't really sure what changes to tie the third one to so I decided to speed it up and trim it down to three shoots. The secondary porn star Xander just came without any intention of using him besides them walking by the filming. Then I though why not have him be the wanking material while the guy is turning gay. And when I had that in place it was only natural that he would show up in a later recording session.

I imagined the Porn Actor sigil swestshirt looking something like this, but in a Harvard maroon color. Or like the Washington Redskins sweatshirt design.

I don't think I've used biker gear of any sort in a story so far, but this is about what I had in mind. I find the helmets with goggles on the outside quite fascinating, as well as the surprisingly thin and unpadded shirt that offers no protection. The selection of this last scene was basically driven by the photo that I found to add to the story. Since he had piercings I wanted to give a plausible reason for why he would get some. I always had the option to just add them, like the narrator says, but tying it into the story is more satisfying. In a way it is helpful to have additional constraints and requirements from photos and weave that into the story.

Then there is the question of how and where to stop the story. On the one hand I'm strongly suggesting that the protagonist will be unable to do anything other than recoding porn from now on, and in a very specific role. On the other hand we have established that the narrator is capable of changing things, so there isn't the kind of finality that I often have.
