Tears of the Kingdom sketches (spoilers!) (Patreon)

We've recently beat TOTK and it was a fun experience, and while I have some critiques overall it was a really great game. But man the Tears of the Dragon quest destroyed my heart ;_; I've been haunted by the Light Dragon's design.

Lady Yona was the character people spoiled the game story over because she is engaged to Sidon. I vented about it in a previous piece about toxic fandom behavior. That part of the fandom has quieted at least (plus blocking tags and blogs) I really like her design and drawing it out was a lot of fun.

And Tulin oh my gosh MY SON MY BABY BIRD SON The whole quest with the Rito village was my favorite part in the game. The dungeon/temple, the camaraderie with Tulin and THE MUSIC! I feel bad for saying the other areas kind of fell short after helping the Rito. Like, parts of the other dungeons and story were fun, but none of them made my heart soar the way Colgera's fight did.

Half of my sketchbook has turned into TOTK art and LoZ ocs haha! Most of my work is pen and marker sketches so I never want to upload them in any public spaces. I always get the vibe that people are not a fan of these kinds of pieces and I'm not in a space where I can use my laptop for digital work very often or have the spoons to come up with a huge polished image of any kind. So thank you all who enjoy and like these bits of art. Each one is a victory to me, and it means a lot that someone out there enjoys them!
