SMB ocs (Patreon)

So I really liked the Super Mario Bros movie despite some of the acting choices (at this point we all know who so I'm not gonna elaborate on issues with excluding professional voice actors) but it made think back on some old concepts I did like twenty years ago.

At once point I did a "Mario-sona" because my name is Maria, and my dad's name is also Mario so I was like "IM GONNA MAKE MYSELF A CHARACTER" years later I did a redesign of her but I'd have to dig them up, maybe even give them a 2023 update?

The second concept never got drawn because back then I wasn't good at drawing scalie/furry/creature art. So it was always notes on notebooks. But for the longest time I referred to this character as Ma Koopa. Who was the koopalings mom? This wasnt a new concept in the fandom but they were always my fav characters. Then later down the line Nintendo said that the koopalings weren't Bowser's biological kids and I was like >:0!!! BETRAYAL!

But twenty years later I have more drawing experience and I was able to give ma koopa some life. Since all the kids are based on musicians I wanted to give her like an 80s glam rock vibe. Though I'm still deciding on a name. I also like the idea that she married Bowser and brought all her kids Brady Bunch style.
