A boy and his horse (Patreon)

Looking back on my old Naruto and Horses of the Sand stuff, I used to draw and write a friendship between Sham and Gaara. Gaara's character development in Naruto was one of my favorites but in canon and filler it was never elaborated on too much. What's funny is this friendship was kind of just an accident. I was RP chatting with friends as my character Keiji, who ends up befriending Gaara and his siblings, and because he had horse companions that kinda just became a thing. 

A baby Sham meets Gaara and imprints on him as his bestie. It's his therapy horse XD As they grow up together Sham chills around the village and takes off when he pleases. People on Devart used to ask me if Gaara learns to ride Sham but I said naw. Look, if you're gonna do a Spirit Untamed scenario, then the horse character stays wild and untamed XD
