Day 23 and 24: Forage and Warmth

“Geist  learned how shy Falling Snow was, but he helped the herd in his own  ways. In the mornings she woke up to find a pile of green morsels and  sweet berries he left for her. He informed her father and mother about  trails the herd could safely follow, and towards water sources that  weren't entirely frozen yet.

The nights were getting colder and  the herd huddled close for warmth. Falling Snow stayed along the  outskirts of the group but kept to himself. Geist joined him, all too  happy to share her warmth. After all, her growing winter coat was thanks  to his efforts, and almost as fluffy as his! He seemed confused by her  closeness, but Falling Snow didn't object.”

Day 25 and 26: Mushrooms and Pumpkin

“Falling  Snow invited Geist to forage with him and showed her all his favorite  places. It was a learning experience for Geist as there were things she  never smelled or tasted before. The strange mushrooms made her wary but  Falling Snow assured her they were safe, despite their odd appearance.  However, it was the brightly colored things called pumpkins that  fascinated her the most. Their shapes, the smells, and the taste! Her  and Falling Snow spent a good part of the day rolling them around.”
