BFF's Agra and Videl (Patreon)

Many years ago when I created Agra I used to get bullied by people who said  I was "ruiining" canon by pairing Agra with Gohan, because "WHAT ABOUT VIDEL?" Gosh, looking back on it, it was bad people did NOT like OC x canon ships back then. I see people encouraging it now which makes me happy.

But yeah, there used to be comments from "friends" back then who said stuff like "I'm so glad I like a ship that's actually canon." It made watching the Buu saga hard because I would get online to receive messages like that on a daily basis.

Fast forward to a few more years and my buddy Dan and I worked on a story where Videl and Agra became the best of friends. And people STILL didn't like that GO FIGURE! There were a few comments from folks who were like "Aren't you supposed to hate her?" "So who wins Gohan?" You cant please everyone, can you?

But it didn't stop our stories of cuteness. DBZ has never been great with women characters being a shonen manga and all. So I basically told myself "you can make wholesome lady relationships, as a treat"
