Hello everyone!

Last couple of days I've been working hard on some "backstage" stuff - assets and resources for SMQ, comic paneling, and more. I'm making cutscenes and putting stuff together (but I certainly haven't forgotten my big plans for the Moo year!)

I thought I'd show you something - the general polish process going on in SMQ sprites. You'll notice in upcoming videos that some characters had their models polished (most egregiously, Apollo, for example.) Each change seems minute, but involves propagating them over *hundreds* of sprites. For example, Rex had 50+ Sprites/expressions (some of which will be trashed, some of which are being cleaned up), and Apollo had over 200 sprites!

These are some examples, featuring Trok, "Zack", Apollo, Diego, and Rex.


A new SMQ cutscene is rendered - but I'm trying to pump out a couple more soon! I want to finish the Lakewood area and move us on to the next!

Zack and Apollo are noticeable improvements. And I think you're bringing Trok and Rex into modern times. As you and we have learned more about them, I think these sprites represent who they are better.
