Hello everyone!

Here's another page preview from SMQ Chapter 5 - I'm currently coloring pages and going as fast as I can. The intention is to make a backlog of pages so that I can comfortably queue them, so that with each page that comes out, another one (or hopefully two) is/are already made to replace them.

So far:

SMQ 4 (12 pages, fully colored) is done.

SMQ 5 (45 pages) is fully inked, and 10 pages are colored.

SMQ 6 is thumbnailed and will be about as long.

ICFOS 4 Status

As a patron asked, I want to explain where things are regarding ICFOS 4. First off, the whole chapter is sketched already, and some of it is already inked. The story is not on hiatus, and is still very much ongoing, but I've had difficulty working on it.

The reason I've slowed down is frankly a mixture of finances and time:

Patronage has been declining for the last year (not a matter I want to linger on too much, but I've lost about 30%), Gumroad shut down for NSFW artists - both of these things have affected my capacity to work on the comic: I've taken commissions to try to compensate losses (which I've been more than glad to do! But understandably: take time) and I've felt pressed to, effectively, throw everything at the wall and see what sticks to try and recover. Again, all things that I am happy to do, but that very much eat up my hours.

Fandom stuff is, unfortunately, far more recognizable when it comes to drawing audiences (regrettably, it always trumps OC stuff); and that factored in.

In spite of it, every week I tell myself "This is the week I'll find a day to work on it, for sure." And then I get to the end of the week, still on a backlog, and I go "okay, next one for sure."

It's just not been a very successful strategy, and I apologize for the delay in getting things going.

HOWEVER, what I'm going to do is try a different approach, from here on.

I will firmly dedicate a day a week to ICFOS stuff exclusively. That includes both a streams where I'll draw some sketch or material from it, and then post-stream, advance on a page.

Here's my rough proposal of a weekly schedule!

This is of course subject to AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, which is to say, sometimes, things fall off. (And I am giving more time to SMQ, I should note, because SMQ is much larger than ICFOS - at the current rate, working regularly, it's a project I expect to work on for years. And I'm happy to say, one I feel energy to work on. One that gives me energy to work on other things.)
