Game Developer Update - November 2023 (Patreon)

Hello Lovelies!!

Our deepest apologies for being silent for a while. I had some setbacks with my physical health that I had to prioritize!  Now that I'm back on deck, here's a brief update for all our amazing fans of what we've been working on!

Scene Focus

We have four scenes we are currently working on. We've listed them in the order we think we are most likely going to get them done!

1. Ms. Treatment's Spanking Punishment - get chastised by 'Mommy' as you get an over the knee spanking!
2. Enforcer Furia's Pegging Reward - watch Furia's delicious cock pound into you as she lets her other inmates watch!
3. Enforcer Furia's Edging Punishment - suffer the force of her whip or cane as she demands you edge for her over and over!
4. The Divine Engine Pragma's Posing Doll Task - hold challenging poses as you are excruciatingly evaluated on your performance!

In this post, I'll share more about the progress we've made with Treat's Spanking Punishment, as well as some exciting new content we've been tiddling away on! More details on our core scenes will be shared in upcoming posts.

Finishing Touches on Treat's Spanking Punishment

I absolutely adore Ms. Treatment. Maybe that's partly because she is the in game avatar to my game developer persona! But it's not just because of that. Out of all the Mistresses in the game, she is the one most closely resembling my natural Domming style. 

We've had so much great feedback every since we added her to the game, that we couldn't resist having such a loving Domme give our players a gentle, corrective spanking! I mean... we all make mistakes! Who wouldn't want that spanking to come from such a delectable devil!

Here's the latest scoop on where we are with finishing this sexy, little scene.

Finished Dialogue and Code

The first step to creating every scene is to write a well-flowing script that fleshes out into enticing dialogue! When that is done, we add the core code that runs the scene. This code loads the Unity scene, the characters, triggers dialogue choices, looks for players to take specific positions in their VR gear, and more!

Here's a quick peak of what a starting outline and fleshed out dialogue looks like:

Polishing the Scene

Now that these golden elements are done, we move on to inserting animations and emotions!

We have almost  300 animations in our animation bank and 10 different emotions that we can scale from 1-100 to get just the right level of emotional expression to fit the dialogue! This is what we are working on now! 

When these are added, we move on to playtesting, dialogue and scene refinement, to our final step - Voice Recording (VO)!

We always do VO last, because we inevitably find bugs in our playtesting that need to be fixed first. Usually, we find scenes are too long, too short, or just don't explain well enough to the player what is happening! If we record VO at the beginning, we've wasted a lot of time and effort during this step!

Fingers crossed, we'll have our scene out by Thanksgiving!

Exciting NEW Content

We're adding some exciting, unannounced content that we hope our lore fanatics will love! (teaser in photo)

Each Mistress will have a special lore scene that you can 'accidently' encounter in the game. These scenes will happen at some point when you first enter a Mistress's room. Instead of encountering her, you'll stumble into something unexpected!

We think you'll love learning more about our characters and the world of Threshold as you watch these lore scenes unfold. From the intriguing dynamic between Nega and Yuki to the private machinations of the Headmistress.  

Shhhhh!!! Don't ask too many questions just yet! Stay tuned!
