Setting Up Furia's Whip

When you first meet Enforcer Furia, she is busy whipping and taunting a sweet, little slave. Uh oh. Is whipping in store for you too??

To set up Furia's whip dynamics, we chose NOT to animate the whip moving, but instead to put physics on it and only animate Furia's arm swinging.

This requires playing around with the physics settings to create stiffer movement near the handle, but freer movement towards the end of the tip so it snaps during the whip motion.

To make sure the free moving tail of the whip would look right, we had to put it straight to the test!
