Tonight, my secondary computer kicked the bucket. Why would I bother rendering something about this? Also, where's my little watermark? Well, here's the deal: That computer held my entire archive of work all the way back to the beginning. All my finished work, all Photoshop files, everything related to the final product. I'm going to take it in to see if the hard drive is recoverable. Pray that it is. Please? Otherwise, everything I've done up to this point (including things I did but haven't posted) are lost.

With that said, please bear with me as there will be a delay in posting The Mad Scientist for this month. Generally, I start posting today, but, well, I can't. A new computer has been ordered and should arrive in a couple of days. If the hard drive is not recoverable, I'll be rendering everything I've done up to this point and not posted again.

in the future, you should keep the files on a separate drive than the operating system. that way if she dies you just need to take out the drive and transfer it to the new one. also an external drive to archive your older work so it isn't on the main is a good investment to prevent loosing things.

I recommend cloud backup. Google drive, dropbox, mega; they all offer about 15gb for free.
