Team green is about to pull up 🙏🙏🙏

Can someone explain why Sir Crispin is still alive?? He interrupted the festivities, SLAPS LAENOR, and killed Laenor’s “best friend” Wouldn’t the Sea Snake and Laenor demand that he die? Wouldn’t King Viserys demand he dies for ruining the night and causing more division? Any other kings guard would have lost their head for that. He should have been put to death regardless of Alicent saving him.

Well maybe not because he didn't kill any of their family, if the Sea Snake demanded for Cripsin to die then it would be them admitting to Leanor loving his "best friend" also whatever the king says goes and after he fell ill Alisent would practically be the Kings word so whatever she says goes

The people in these comments are so upset lmao... I'm not picking any side. All of these characters are immensely flawed and exist on a spectrum of evil. I watch to see it unfold, to see the complicated nature of humanity and it's many conditiions... All of you "Team X", "Team Y" people make shows like this hard to enjoy. You defend characters like they're your family. That's weird and annoying.

lola

the fact that you guys are watching House of the Dragon before Game of Thrones is kinda insane to me… 😭

Dani

joined for Hotd and hoping you'll start watching Game of Thrones after.

2024-04-12 01:07:14 I know I’m coming with this comment rather late. But I wanted to answer a question I heard one of you ask during the episode and glancing through the comments I didn’t see anyone answer it. Someone asked why Larys Strong could do what he did with the prisoners. Larys had the official title of Lord Confessor. And in this fictional universe that is the title of the man in charge of torture and execution for the King in Westeros. They do use the title once this season in one of the later episodes. I think that this is a detail that was clearly stated in the book Fire & Blood. Yet it is not very clear in the television show, even though it is evidently still true in the television series. BTW, I wasn’t one of your Patreons when you originally watched this. I joined to watch your Game of Thrones reactions and the trailer for Season Two of House of the Dragon renewed my interest in seeing your full reactions to Season One.
