My first time watching this so I'll just watch it with you guys. I can tell from these 3 eps man this is gonna be a bitter tragedy show. You kinda get that feeling seeing so many characters introduced in a war setting with heavy prejudice and racism. Soundtrack ost music is cookin tho.. Its definitely a gem, I like and at the same time dislike these types of animes lol. Anyways I can't wait for the nx one.

Man, there are two parts. The first one contains 11 episodes, the second one has 12 episodes. She definitely is portrayed in the first part over sexualized. Personally, it's a bit overhyped for me, maybe my expectations were too high going into it. However, it has great animation with genuinely good CGI, art style, and music. If you enjoyed Code Geass, then you'll probably enjoy this as well, since they touch on some similar themes and both involve mechs. Maybe this rewatch will change my opinion on it, but it's like a 7 or 8 out of 10 for me.

Imo I 100% get the worry about gek not getting to their (massive) backlog of shows. I dont think a single series I have voted on in their polls has ever won. Their content has (for me) been a way to not only relive the moments in the series I love, but to also experience new series that I have been hesitant to get into (or in this case never even heard about). I think it'd be really cool for studio gek to make a habit to every fourth or fifth poll just randomly pick a series a few places for the top. Would tap into react/review content that I haven't really seen done before.

86 was blessed with a good anime adaptation. Its the best anaime adaptation from a Light Novel ever. Its not the best Light Novel ever but it was the one that was best adapted. A good adaptation is priceless. Its not on the surface mainstream radar of most people but its still very popular

Yes there is lol. Maybe not as much with Naruto yet, but all of the others are released around the same time every week. Just because it’s not a set schedule doesn’t mean it’s not a schedule. Schedules can be loose to provide a bit of wiggle room while still meeting specific deadlines. Sure, they may not come out the same day every week, but they do come every week at some point. At least from what I’ve noticed haha

I’ve never watched 86. The first episode, I honestly thought that the drones were autonomous and she humanized the AI that’s why she felt bad for the drones which I thought that was odd(I don’t know why my mind went there). I thought the voices talking back was just AI. After I found out there was people inside and how much the 85 districts dehumanized the 86 district and how numb they were to basically their family and friends dying that’s sad Af. Literally taking their own friends life to take him out of his misery and go on with your day like is just another Tuesday. Damn this anime is crazy!
