The comics range from passable to terrible. Kinda a shock, I thought they’d be better, but seems S3 was the peak. There are a handful of cool moments but overall it’s like a lukewarm 5-6/10 throughout, aside from one or two arcs.

I’ve heard it gets pretty good, but I had such trouble getting through the first couple seasons. Just had a really difficult time liking any of the characters.

Prediction: Suki eventually finds out that Sokka was not there to rescue her—she was basically an afterthought—and that he is still pining over the moon. So, she dumps him, and he ends up with Toph down the road.

@Micheal Your first mistake was watching it as if its not its own show with its own characters and a completely different main character with a different history and period. The show has villains that are 10x better than anything in ATLA. The character development of Korra is also better than Aang in my opinion. The themes explored were much more mature and done well. Korra had much more to overcome than Aang. When I first watched ATLA i always felt that enough didn't happen. Season 1 of TLOK is really the only one I found a bit boring

Zuko improved once his anger no longer fueled his fire. Azula, as crazy as she is, doesn’t have any anger so she would always be less limited than Zuko.
