the korean names are gonna be so hard for y’all if your not familiar with them 😭😭 i read the manhwa years ago and i gotta say my expectations weren’t that high for the anime. but this was a great first episode. they combined a few future chapters to the first 3 and a half for world building sake so im pretty happy with it

So excited for you guys to experience your first anime based on a Korean manwha! I flew through reading it, so it's super cool to finally see it animated :) I'd say the tone of this series is more along the lines of the John Wick movies lol, lots of fun fights and badass moments following a super cool character, but not so much of a deep long-running plot with twists like AoT/DN/FMA. It's a fun change of pace though, so definitely think you guys will enjoy it for the vibes!

definitely agree! it’s a fun story and even though the plot might not be as intricate as some of the other shows they’ve seen I think the guys will still enjoy :) the manwha was also just so beautifully illustrated, nice to see the team trying their best to bring it to life!

What is that behind Brig?? It's impossible not to know about Solo Leveling when it's really popular. In my honest opinion I find it pretty generic with good art style, but it's also true that I don't really watch this type of anime and I did like this first episode, so I guess I can give it another chance to this story

Yes please for 86, I feel like it doesn’t get enough love, especially in the reaction space. There’s not too many episodes out and even though it’s still going, the latest season ended at a pretty solid point. And as you mentioned the OST is amazing as well as the animation/art style

86 is so goated, I want the anime to come back so bad. I remember 86 and Mushoku tensei were airing the same time and Mushoku made me get into a light novel for the first time. And I’ve heard the 86 light novel is peak so I might have to just have 86 be my 2nd light novel series cuz I don’t think the anime coming back ever or at least any time soon sadly 😭

They probably just started solo leveling since for one like they said, they have been hearing how anticipated it is so they’re curious and second it potentially can bring in good views for the channel as everyone is watching it rn. Idk if they was thinking about that but it’s a smart move to tackle an airing show that’s trending right after finishing jjk which brought them a ton of views

Im a one piece fan too but I love Naruto as well and if they pick up Naruto maybe later down line when the wit studios remake comes out the pacing issues will be fixed and they will enjoy one piece a lot more!

Alittle disappointed the animation looks like a typical isekai anime. They really should've stayed true the manhwa artstyle cause LORD IS IT ONE OF THE BEST STYLES IVE SEEN IN SHOUNEN. Its quite distinguishable. I recommend reading the manhwa along with the anime hehe anyways really hope they dont take liberties and just anime directly

Odd taxi if you want a mystery anime that is short (less than 15 episodes). It's about a Walrus with very good memory who works as a taxi driver; which comes back to bite him because he starts to piece together a murder mystery that involves some of his past passengers. Monster if you want a longish (Less than 100 episodes) anime. Monster is about a Japanese neurosurgeon in Germany. Dr Tenma has to reconcile the fact that, his soon-to-be Father-in-law (and chief of surgery), wants to prioritize "important" patients over others. Tenma ends up saving the life of a child (instead of some important dude) who later grows up to be a serial killer. I won't spoil how Tenma gets involved further.
