Jackson, I think korra lore does conflict a bit with ATLA lore. But I think you can reconcile it by thinking of how not everyone could've met and learned from the original masters (dragons, badgermoles, sky bison, etc.). The way people "learn" bending in korra is kind of more accessible and needed for their survival.

You guys should also notice how in the earlier seasons, Zuko would scream and roar every time he fire-bended. After learning from the dragons, he no longer needs to do that since his fire-bending isn't coming from hate and anger anymore.

It’s totally understandable that Katara doesn’t trust Zuko. He’s the reason Aang was straight up killed at the end of season 2. Katara had Azula beat before Zuko jumped in.

@Northyee same. i like it more than Avatar the last Airbender. the villains were just so complex, 10x better, and I love how Korra is the opposite of aang. Also people were mad about what korra "lost' but the next avatar will start fresh and I kinda like it
