Prime Levi would win against prime attack titan Eren under certain conditions. But with war hammer he won't because of the hardened body/crystal imo

bro what, mikasa's haircut is amazing. i love it so much

Ladnon

The Jack detestation in these comment sections are unreal

The conversation at the start reminded me of this quote from the show Legacies, "When we're young, we're taught the distinction between a hero and a villain, good and evil. A savior and a lost cause. But what if the only real difference is just who's telling the story."

Gael

And about Mikasa's haircut: "In a recent Bessatsu Shonen Q&A, Isayama revealed that Mikasa's ponytail got cut in an accident: Q: Why did Mikasa cut her hair? A: Before that they grew a bit and she had them in a ponytail. In a unexpected accident the knot (probably the one that tied her hair) got cut." I honestly love her hair lol it makes her look so badass.

Kyle

same thought Sasha was in the show way more than she actually was lol

The Owl

Brigg's question @9:00: Levi.

Briggs is like Gabi - "did you see the suppression of Marleyans by Eldians for 2000 years? Me neither"

In short, there were so many different agendas that were explored just in this episode. At this point, we know what Zeke's plan was. He wanted to have a test run of the rumbling, then work with Azumabito's to advance their own technology to be on par or better than the rest of the world, as well as pass on the Founding and Beast titan for generations to follow. This would give the Eldians on Paradis a chance to live peacefully given their access to weapons of mass destruction (the millions upon millions of Colossal titans). Yelena is a follower of Zeke and is on board with the same plan. Though, I wasn't sure if Zeke had somehow manipulated Eren to infiltrate and attack Marley on his own, with or without the scouts invovlement. Then we have the "Jaegerists" who want to restore the Eldian empire, similiar to the restorationists, and who believe that Eren is the only one who can make that happen. They must have known that the Premier Zachary and the military police were planning on eating Eren and taking the Founding titan for their own reason. Finally, we have Eren who seems to be several steps ahead of the MP and plans to meet up with Zeke. But he doesn't seem to want to cooperate with the OG squad. He's left them in the dark.

I love that Carter remembered Erwin’s question or rather his statement to Eren “who do you think the enemy is.” It’s just such good foreshadowing but also just a great way to describe the conflict throughout the show. We don’t know who the REAL enemy is and honestly, like we saw Carter agreeing with the Jaegerists, anyone can be for any side of the puzzle. I think it really reflects our world accurately. Everyone from every side has justification for what they do. It’s a matter of who’s side are you seeing it from and are you considering what the justification is for other people.

humbleandkindness

I always think back to Levi in part 1 of season 3- who knows if they’re doing is right or wrong? All they can do at this point is choose, because the world they were born into doesn’t allow for solid morals if you want to survive or protect anything.

Brayden

*cannon. but yeah, aot is great with its connections to the real world and foreshadowing

Brian Estepa

He says a lot of unnecessary spoiler-y shit that doesn't let the two people who are watching it for the first time come to their own conclusions... the comments are kind of understandable. Hopefully he hasn't watched whatever they react to next

Ladnon

I'm not disagreeing but from what's been said, he doesn't remember a lot of it. So maybe it just slips out some time 😂. Even so, for as long as canon and carter don't mind, I think it's all chill

Anything bad happens. Cannon: "I think it's Zeke" 😭😂 Why!!!!

Gnani

Mikasa and Levi got spider sense. Multiple times in the show they just know things that's going to happen a tad sooner. Just before the explosion. Just as Zeke throws at the plane.

Anonymous

Love how Carter is on the side of the Jaegerists, while Cannon is on the side of the scouts and government, shows that there really isn’t a right side in this show

Wulfheart

"What did you pull from the last 10 minutes of this episode?" "Just stress." Mood.

Markus

I see Carter's point of view when it comes to the military withholding and keeping Eren locked up, but he doesn't apply the same standards to Eren and the Jaegerists. Communication is obviously key in this situation, but both sides have made plans of their own. Kinda surprised me, because I thought Cannon was the one who would side with Eren on this matter.

metalgearbear

It's a tad ironic because previously he told Cannon not to be a prisoner of the moment but I feel like he's cheering the Jaegersists on each moment lol. It's applying a very black & white "solution" to a grey and nuanced problem. Like he can't understand why Eren was locked up, but he doesn't bat an eye to Floch and his cronies completely going off the rails.

BoredVoid

Well of course "prime" Eren would win. Levi is a strong assassin, but you aren't realizing the infinity of Eren's powers as Founding. Can Levi single-handedly stop The Rumbling? No? Well then he can't beat Eren because he has to go through that as Eren continually makes titans on repeat.

BoredVoid

Now Liberio Eren would lose against Levi because then it's just him with Attack Titan powers, which is just punching. Levi can out-maneuver and outlast Eren's abilities and transformation limit.

Ben Crawford

I like that you guys are divided on who is right. That means the show is doing it correctly! Personally, I always felt the same way as Cannon.

Music is Heart

When are you guys gonna react to watching all the intros?? I need😩

Brig is FERAL for that robbery at the start 💀

Caleb

i didnt really give it much thought the first time around, but after re-watching these 12 episodes with you guys i really dont like the new animation style. i understand that they needed it for some of the more advanced stuff that comes later on but they really butchered the way all the characters look. The eyes and overall facial expressions dont look nearly as good imo

Blue John

Much as i love how goated season 4 is, i find it to be exhausting at times. I repeatedly flip flopped on who i root for, about what is right/wrong, or which plan is good/bad. It keeps happening on rewatches too. It's quite taxing for me. My brain is too smol to think about these stuff for too long.

Anonymousgecko21

Dude on the far left can't help but ruin everything before it happens lmao

Anonymousgecko21

And Brig continues to talk through all the sick scenes

Conundrum

Don’t take this as an insult but with that doorknob behind your head I thought you had some kind of weird manbun/rat tail lol…
