was just about to go to sleep but you guys blessed me with another one

You guys are the best, how often is the upload schedule? I can’t get enough!

farkzzy

LMAO no way I get the next one tho, i’ll be asleep

Season 3 episode 3 😏

Kim555

it said episode 3 earlier and I got confused lmao what

farkzzy

maybe we shouldn’t count it as a loss because I won’t be competing at all?

I think this episode developed Eren’s character really well. He’d always been a bit arrogant and brash, and in that moment (before he started beating himself up)he realized that he needed his comrades and wouldn’t get far without them. He also recognized that a lot of people died for him, and he needed to do his best to make those deaths count. Not to mention right after this he was kinder to mikasa and armin. The mental breakdown was difficult to watch but he came out stronger and more self aware.

I'm writing my thesis right now and your reactions really help me to have a fun in a while. big thanks from Germany!

Pocketsleuth

Jack is correct in that Abnormal titans behavior were already described before, in Season 1 during the Annie Arc I think. Basically they ignore individuals and focus on big groups of people, it's why Reiss ignored Eren and didn't eat him. Also, not sure if you rewatched that Reiss flashback scene and understand it more now, but it's to show Reiss's Father, his brother Uri and his daughter Frieda wanting to get rid of the Titans outside the walls using the Coordinate's power, but then as soon as they get that power, they lose that wish of freeing everyone from Titans

Anonymous

My theory is that if they don’t inject then there is a higher rate that the Titan will be abnormal or have some deformity. And maybe he is that large because of his royal blood.

Justin Callang

Shoutout to the animators, director, and everyone involved in the making of this episode. From the slick animation, fantastic soundtrack, sick action sequences, beautiful shot compositions, clever transitions, the callbacks to the first episode, and the development of Eren and Historia’s character… I mean every episode has been masterfully made, but it’s like WIT decided to go all-out crazy for this one! And since the boys already finished Season 3, they know WIT outdid themselves with Part 2, especially episodes 16-18.

studiogek

Thanks jack, YOU guys are the best!! We literally love all these comments and talk about them all the time. For right now we upload the next weeks worth of content on Friday-Sunday! But we will probably be changing that to a more regular upload schedule in the near future!

studiogek

WOW!!!! That is AMAZING!! And that is so awesome you’re in Germany! Hopefully the thesis writing goes well!

Gnani

It is easier to forcefully turn someone into titan using injection. At least that is how I see it. I also don't think these injections are made by these guys. Somehow the royal family has access to these. At least that is how I see it. Since you guys have finished Season 3, you may be able to see it.

Pocketsleuth

YEAH and personally, I've always really loved that still shot of Levi standing infront of Kenny leaning against the tree with the sun setting in the background, it's just so beautiful and never really appreciated enough I think

Fatema alrowaiei

Im so happy that when you post its already 9 am 🥹❤️

A

12:40 am for me so looking forward to the next episode in the morning!

Tkdmegs

Bruh your faces when Brigg said the titan that Levi went batshit feral on was his mom was priceless! And the episode was perfectly cut after that😂💀

Tsunazoz

Will the rest of S3 Part 1 episodes be uploaded this week?

Josh Knoebel

I love the little details. Like how Erwin's drawing of Rod's titans face is horrible. Because he has to learn to use his left hand.

Con Wunder

I love how excited Cannon gets, it's adorable

lydia

Cannon is low key so smart

Given the choice, I'd bet most would prefer a titan spinal fluid injection rather than to have to drink it. And it'd be easier to administer to unwilling subjects. Over time, the syringe just became the most convenient method to administer a dosage.

L.Lindberg

Look at Connie's mom, some titans don't turn out well. Assume the spinal fluid in the syringe that got smashed was from Frieda's royal blood Coordinate titan, so with the potential to turn the injected into a big, strong titan. And then assume oral consumption rather than intra vascular injection, with the former being an ineffective delivery, and I think it's not that far of a leap to think that only some of the strengths manifested and that it became an accidental horror. Rod clearly thought he'd transform and eat Eren because he said: "Frieda, Uri, wait for me."

The Owl

Wasn't Frieda immediately murdered by Grisha once she got the founding titan, though? I think the spinal fluid comes from... someone else. I could be wrong.

Zena

No sweet for Jackson?😂😂

T. Law

Cuz he is adorable ❤️❤️. I always get happy to see people praising Cannon 😂❤️.

T. Law

Cannon is smart but people always notice how smart Carter is and ignore Cannon. Both brothers are smart.

T. Law

🥺🥺❤️❤️ and he deserves it. You're a true fan member Kunimi 😂❤️.

T. Law

I finally have time to watch this video. It starts with Cannon on red, my favorite color, perfect 💆🏻‍♀️❤🔥.

T. Law

Waited for too long to say this but Cannon has 3 voices. First, the natural one. Second, the one he uses when he's cute 😂. Hear that 'Nooo' at 1:18. I was waiting for the third one to show up again cuz I heard it on a video but he just stopped using it and I'm too lazy to remember or go back to find the video.

T. Law

It was said that she died at 06:27 😔❤️.

Kzee

my theory for the longest time was that because everything titan related dissappears, maybe its trough contact with the air. So to preserve the spinal fluid they put it into vials. also the reason why rod may have an even bigger titan could be due to his royal blood

manderlee

THE TOMATO BASIL WHEAT THINS ARE SO GOOOOOOOD

kiiturii

last part can't be true because when they pass down the founder the person has to be royal blood too. The reason rod was fucked up was probably because of the improper ingestion of the spinal fluid, at least that's what I think

Lag Sold

“Yea it was Levi’s brother” you got me the first half ngl 😂

anna

no, frieda died when she was 18 and got her power at 15.

L.Lindberg

Yes, and she was born year 827, making her 15 in 842 when she inherited the titan power.

Anonymous

I appreciate the response, I would much prefer a more regular upload schedule because I can’t help but watch all episodes when you release them! But for real, you guys are the goats, never seen AOT reactions with such a good group!

Jeffrey

Oh, are they brothers? I thought they were cousins.

Jeffrey

Reiss' titan face was so disgustingly horrifying, those kids must be scarred for life. I was too scared to turn the lights on in a dark basement when I was little. There are other moments of fear I don't want to recall because they're embarrassing, but that thing was the stuff of nightmares. On another note, I like that Carter called out Brig for forgetting so many mini arcs/sequences. I noticed that too. Also nice call back to Tobey Maguire's first web attempts in the Spider man. I watched that in theaters way back in 2002.

Devzy 793

Carter was right in saying that Titan's don't usually have internal organs, but many theorise that him ingesting the fluid instead of injecting it caused some of his innards to remain in his titan form since the way it entered his body wasn't direct enough

David Herrera

Noticed the same and I think he was expecting one as well.. My boy Jackson always getting the short end of the stick

Jayton Garrido

I'm thinking they dont understand even though it was explained that once a person of royal blood inherits the founding titan they also receive the memories and will of the person who last had it. It's a sort of transcendence. I think they think that it's just brain washing or something. Because they looked confused again when they showed the flash back to rods daughter getting the power and still didn't stop the titans and kept on carrying out the will of the first king.

Gabriel Alexander

But wasnt eren in the stomach of that bearded titan when he was eaten? the inside looked like stomach acid and everything, maybe they only have a stomach and thats what we saw, because I didnt see any lungs or heart or anything else other than a sack of disgusting meat

Devzy 793

Well the titans don't digest what they eat so perhaps the food is broken down and regurgitated like we see after the struggle for trost arc so it's less of a stomach and more just a chamber inside of them. In Rod Reiss's case his organs are far more human-like

Shiro

That is an awesome observation!! Didn't notice that myself...

elementalist33

No the information that was relayed was that they don't have a digestive tract or reproductive organs. The reproductive part was relayed in episode 5 during a classroom flashback, and the digestive tract part was relayed after the battle of trost when they were discussing the titans vomit filled with dead carcasses of humans while trying to tally and cleanup the dead from the battle. the titans do have stomachs, as Eren fell in one in episodes 5 which we saw in episode 9 i think "where the left arm went".

Wägi qwq

"My theory, which isn't confirmed or anything..." coming from the guy who WATCHED THE SHOW ALREADY XDDDDD

locomojoboy

Yeah I can’t stand when people who’ve already know what’s going to happen give predictions as if they have no idea what’s going to happen. Just don’t even chime in.
