i know this is an older reaction but i just have to say when y’all were talking about dragon ball…whoever mentioned the Goku Black vs Goku fight…W for sure. A++ fight! I also HIGHLY suggest the dub for AOT. there are moments that are better subbed however there are also moments that are better dubbed. ive watched both sub and dub and love them both equally!

you don’t need to edit the anime episode on patreon like it’s on youtube. patreon is copyright free so you can add the full episode without editing it also you can make it non transparent

The dub voice acting, I think, is quite good, but the titans screams are worse. Instead of the titans sounding like giant maneaters they sound more akin to a fictionalized portrayal of a dinosaur roar.

YAYAYAYA, this reminds me of when I watched this episode for the first time almost a decade ago. The sound of Eren's giant footsteps, that godlike soundtrack from Horiyuki Sawano kicking in as you see steaming Eren shouldering the boulder pounding down the street, taller than all the buildings. SO sick, I was HOOKED

Hell yeah, the Boulder scene! The sound is called "call your name" if anyone's interested in checking it out. I remember first watching this scene wayyyy back when the show was first airing while I was in high school. Such a great scene in every aspect, it's still my favorite from the show today. TATAKAE

When Armin yells "GO" and then it transitions into Eren screaming and throwing the boulder into the hole it's actually so hype, one of my favorite moments in the whole anime.

About the dub scream. I love it because it’s not your generic roar. And it definitely fits in Season 4. Don’t want to give spoilers. I’ll just say the roar is very haunting

So far I haven’t disagreed with anything but I will always debate the dub slander. Attack on Titan is just as good if not better in dub than it is in sub. The dub casting for these characters is insanely on point. Their emotions and voice depth match every facial expression perfectly to me. And Bryce definitely matches Eren’s intensity and passion. I’ve seen it in both and love both though. 🫶🏼

Plot points as well as characters from it are referenced in the anime at least, so it’s canon to the anime. Plus, it’s a great story.

Most of the soundtrack from AoT uses thumbnails with huge spoilers on Youtube, so I'd advice them to only use something like Spotify.

I feel like most people agree that the dub is solid, but there's no way it's superior to the original. Japanese voice actors got waaay more range compared to their American and European counterparts. Not to mention some things can't really be translated well, like comedic moments.

I love the dub. But I’m not one of those people who will shame you for liking or disliking the Sub and/or Dub. I say let people enjoy what they like. I hope everyone here feels the same way. I’ll just say that the Dub has made me cry before. I get emotions watching both.

There are so many animes that I can’t watch dub in because it just doesn’t compare. But this is certainly one of my exceptions. I agree with you though.

Respectfully, I completely disagree. The dub isnt even in the same UNIVERSE as the subbed version in my opinion. Yuki kaji as eren is just completely unmatchable, along with the rest of the cast. A certain scene in S2e12 just shows exceptional Kaji is. The emotional acting in the subbed version is just leagues ahead from anything in the dub, not to meantion the dubbed titans sound like pterodactyls. Its kind of ridiculous, that alone makes the dub unwatchable for me

Appreciate the consistent uploads lads! A tip that I feel will increase the viewing experience is to synchronise the audio and the video itself just a tad more accurate because sometimes the audio comes first and then the subtitles and they're usually mistimed! Just a suggestion but I appreciate what you guys are doing!

guys PLEASE the subs are sooo wrongg hahahah. when annie said "ill be damned", she actaully said "look at that" or "is that.." (i dont remember exactly). like what kind of subs are theseeee hahahah. please change where youre watching from guys. the dialogue in aot is tbh as important as everything else. these subs are gonna ruin the experience so much for you guys in my opinion.

AOT is one of the shows with a good DUB casting. Erwin's voice actor in the English dub is a better casting than in the original imo.

I love both the sub and dub but I first watched in dub so it holds a special place in my heart! I honestly think it would just make things easier for them to watch the dub because it already has a fixed script that fits the story whereas the sub has so many different variations and translations so it just makes it more confusing and they have to keep switching platoforms.

no not crunchyroll, watch it on funimation, trust me ive rewatched aot like a 100 times and funimation is simply the best and is actually accurate.

I agree with Lana that Funimation tends to have the best subs. Specifically the scene with Eren when he says “the world beyond the wall is my birthright”. The correct translation is “because I was born into this world” and is an important quote. Love the content and can’t wait for you guys to continue. It only gets better from here!

I prefer subs too but not sure which platform is better for subs myself. You can try making a poll so people can vote where they want you guys to watch from and just stick to that. Saves you guys from getting too many complaints

About the subtitle problem. The sub is unfortunately going to be different anywhere you watch it (Hulu, CrunchyRoll, Funimation, etc). So I suggest pick one and stay with it.

For week early uncut videos, the next weeks videos will always start being uploaded Friday/ Saturday, and continually load in throughout the weekend. Patreon takes hours on hours for things to upload, so the uploads are spaced out kind of far. So by the end of tomorrow, all of next weeks videos should up!

We have switched a few times because everyone always says the subs are horrible. We started on Hulu, then went to crunchyroll and then to netflix. Every time someone said they were weird, so we just decided to go to crunchyroll and stick with that. These current cubs were on netflix tho. Also the sync thing was just a weird thing that happened in the editing software. Shouldnt be a problem in the future!

Guys the screen shouldn't be transparent on patreon. That's one of the benefits. You can upload it with normal quality, it's allowed
